It takes more than being in the top 1% of Nicki Minaj “Super Bass” listeners to get a nickname like ‘Bass Boss’ to stick. With a signature sound that weaves genres from all over the map with hypnotic bass lines, when it comes to Amadeezy, “eclectic” is an understatement.

Starting out going to shows in the Boston scene, he would go on to host and DJ one of the most popular monthly nights around before getting into dance music production more heavily. Earning repeated play time on outlets like NTS Radio and Boiler Room, alongside shows that take him across the country and globe, Amadeezy’s notoriety as an artist is growing by the day but the Bostonian behind the bass is still a mystery.

So, even in the midst of his busy schedule which included just wrapping sets in LA and Miami and an upcoming show in Madrid, Amadeezy took a quick breather to talk origin story, inspirations, music as a ‘career’, the legendary PVRPLE, and much more in our latest Pirate Radio. This mix is dedicated to legendary producer and filth merchant, Blackmass Plastics, who passed away on 27 June 2025. Alavux is a highly respected electro-techno artist from Serbia, known for his fast-paced, tenacious sounds and his dedication to representing the underground music scene in Eastern Europe. For over two decades, Alavux has been a driving force in the industry, leading his E75 crew with passion and commitment.

In 2015, Alavux released the highly acclaimed "Octagon EP" on Bass Agenda Recordings, which received support from industry heavyweights such as Dave Clarke. 

Alavux's journey into music production began in the mid-'90s, where he found inspiration in acid, techno, and house music. 

With a keen sense of staying ahead of the curve, Alavux has created his own path in the industry. He draws inspiration from the great pioneers of the past but chooses to adopt their pioneering spirit and innovation rather than mimic their sound or track structures.

Shyda is of Argentinian/ Mexican background and was raised in Miami, where she started her music career in the underground scene. She has a reputation of blending immersive soundscapes from dark electro, broken techno, and psychedelia.
