Solid Steel (18th April) It's all about Record Store Day this week and we've asked some of the finest Independent record stores in the UK to contribute mixes in a 6 way Soundclash.
First up it's <a href="http://www.roughtrade.com/">Rough Trade</a> and DJ Bobafatt has mixed up a diverse selection suggested by Rough Trade staff, including RSD releases by Eric Lau, Grace Jones and LCD Soundsystem, plus music from Younghusband and Amazing Snakeheads who will be playing at Rough Trade East on the day.
Manchester's <a href="http://www.piccadillyrecords.com/counter/index.php">Piccadilly Records</a> are up next, represented by Kickin' Pigeon and continue with more quality selections from Ste Spandex, Begin and the sublime Monday Club/Tuesday Nite by Manchester's very own BE, plus the classic Twilight by Maze, Stalker and DBH. 
 <a href="http://www.soundsoftheuniverse.com/">Sounds of the Universe</a> complete the first part of this vinyl Soundclash opening with Panoram, a Truth is Light edit and followed by some deep jazz from Skymark, Dam Shake, Avolon Emerson and Tenderlonius on their own Sounds of the Universe record label.
