Si cut his musical teeth playing in The Dukes, The Slim Pickens String Band and Moses Gunn, where he supported the likes of Martin Harley, Frank Turner and Seth Lakeman. His loves of Country, Bluegrass, Motown and Funk combine to create a retro but pretty innovative sound. There's some folk and a bit of cajun, lots of thumping rhythms and the odd melancholy moment. Si is most comfortable with his jumbo acoustic guitar and his home made stomp box but has spent more time in the studio during 2012, getting his new e.p. ready for release.
