The features of reggae vocalist Ray Darwin and Noetics gituarist Chriz the Wiz as well as the filigree use of percussion and field recordings make this production feel naturally alive. For the visual perfection Alex Ketzer covers both vinyls in a sublime imagery from Jules Vernes „20.000 leagues under the sea“.

A rediscovered journey leads to new paths and enchantments. Sean Mackey returns to fresh life coursing through the "Aviary". A collection of talent drawn from continental drift converge, united in common purpose. The soft melodic tones of birdsong soar overhead as the "Aviary" is home to a melange of counterpoint sequences. Rivulets of water cascade in dancing rhythms, beating out their heavy cadence in glorious unison across the leafy canopy.

Australian talent and Dutch mastery produce new perspectives. Pounding beats and glissando bass see Rich Curtis enrich further as percussive touch provides the fizmer of breeze in the distance - energy and vitality in full abundance. Huminal's sure touch continues with grace. Intricate rhythmic interplay produces hummaruz; ears tilted inquisitively on the air. Beautiful owl-light in dusk provides nostalgic emotion before darkness descends through breathless, pulsating bass line.

Lonya, Shane Robinson and Audioglider hit new strides across the "Mountain Republic". Sunlight dapples across waters edge, new melodies dance and play, coruscating throughout. Haunting vocals breathe half-heard words and dominant rhythms create imposing surroundings against the striking escarpment to imprison the flightless.

Standing firm on stony ground, breathe deeply; there's a beauty here I cannot deny.

Here it is. The new, somewhat spontaneous, Lion's Gate Full Moon Mix I worked tirelessly on for the last two nights, staying up til sunrise this morning finishing. When you're recording a 3 hour mix, there are no breaks lol. It was an absolute pleasure to create this mix. After a short hike at 11,000 feet under the moonlight with just me and my dog, I couldn't wait to come home and finish this lastnight. Feeling the vibes of the full moon, lunar eclipse, and lion's gate we get to bathe in right now. I hope everyone else is feeling it. And I hope everyone is feeling this mix. It's a beautiful one. I tried some new things, taught myself some tricks, learned from some mistakes (hehe), and came out with something unique (and beautiful) from all the rest of my mixes and sets. It's my gift to you, and to myself, so I hope you enjoy.
