Australia’s Luke Alessi is on an upward trajectory, having released on Still Vor Talent, A Tribe Called Kotori, and now back for his 2nd release on Mobilee. This 2-Track EP with the lead single “Matter” further cements his journey; a hotly tipped quality production that is set to bring Luke’s message further to the worldwide stage, as he joins forces with the legendary Stereo MC’s on vocals, who also head up the successful dance label Connected and have a career spanning nearly 30 years. Remix on the lead is coming from Innervisions/Connected artist, Aaaron, who's on the up after his release on Dixon's Transmoderna imprint last year. 

“Matter” combines a powerful and poignant lead that evolves alongside Stereo MC’s atmospheric and soft vocal story; travelling together through dazzling heights and grooving rhythmic states, an enjoyable enveloping experience throughout.

Berlin’s Aaaron takes “Matter” on an alternative path, giving the instruments a whole new space, bringing the vocal message to the fore in a smooth and sultry underground interpretation.

“Tills Theme” completes the EP with a similarly uplifting melodic tale with arpeggiated leads and twisting elements that we have come to expect from Luke’s already developed signature sound, this time reminiscent of parties deep within the dust or on a palm fringed shore.

Aaaron is associated with the likes Yoshitoshi Recordings, Innervisions and Frau Blau and is straight out of the Berlin club scene. He has worked with fellow Berlin artist Deckert since they first hooked up on 2017’s 'Moon' and 'Last Day on Earth' EPs. They have continued to develop their sound since then and now come on strong with a pair of richly organic house tracks. South African remixer Floyd Lavine is a connected regular who has released on labels like Watergate, Rise and Afrikan Tales, and gigs at the likes of Watergate and Glastonbury. His version shifts the focus from the melodies to the edgy drums, with his famously heavy afro tech stylings making for a fresh new tune.

We are both very pleased to introduce Johannes Brecht to the Siamese family! A highly talented, trained and decorated musician is a fair description of Johannes and we’re proud to call him a friend and sometimes even a mentor.

This record has been in the works for a long time and since all of us wanted to have this EP out on vinyl too it took some time to get everything in place. As expected the three originals show a wide array of Johannes Brecht's world of electronic music. 

'Voicing Something' dives deep into what it means to be a conscious being. "Tell me this do you believe that you are strong enough to be a better man, a better breed, a better kind of company so take a stand before you leap and breathe.“ Your dreams and fears are guiding you while you figure out the puzzle of life. 

Adriatique’s Remix of 'Voicing Something' almost appears like a dub version of the original although it wasn’t a full vocal version. The chorus from the original, 'We live and die trying I saw I light revive me‘, gets a prominent placement in this remix. 

Next we have the beautiful ‚Orca‘, an exciting and complex dance track that sucks you deep into an ocean of carefully chosen and crafted sounds which sound like nothing you have heard before. 


Closing the release is 'Astral Travelling‘, first heard as the stellar beginning of Adriatique’s art.set at for ARTE concert at the renowned Fondation Beyeler. The name resembles perfectly what the title suggests; a journey deep into time and space carried by human emotions and translated into music. 

And this is what Johannes is all about; creating something with love and passion rather than staying on safe ground.

Premiere: Nik Thrine - The Secret (Santé & Re.You Remix) - Music is 4 Lovers

Italian maestro Lehar drops his debut with TAU, with three original cuts and two remixes. Lehar heads up the Multinotes label, and his produc- tions have caught the ear of tastemakers at labels such as Afterlife and Diynamic, among others. Known for his deep, subtle sound Lehar is a welcome addition to the TAU squad...

The EP kicks off with title track ‘The 26th Beginning’ (featuring Filippo Nardini), an absolutely captivating composition with stirring vocals and a subdued yet enchanting instrumental. Lehar’s production skills complement Filippo’s heartrending vocals perfectly, with ever-progressing layers of synth work dancing around the bassline. This is emotionally mature and transcendent, whisking you away from the dance floor to a place of comfort, escape and love.

‘Matilda’ is next, taking us into a darker dimension. The haunting atmosphere features a simple, yet highly effective reverbed riff, along with crisp beats and a morose bassline. There’s an air of mystery embedded within this unsettling composition, and a subtle hint of joy that slowly unfolds, eventually dominating and changing the feeling of the track entirely.

Then we have ‘Carnet De Voyage’, which utilises organic sounding guitar licks, alongside similarly “live” sounding percussion. Fizzing synth lines descend into the main body of the cut, along with an analogue melody that sounds like it was extracted from a 60s sci-fi movie. Lehar demon- strates his versatility on this cut, with impeccable progression - as with the other tracks on this release, he tells a sonic story, with a beginning, middle and end.

Adana Twins are first up with a remix of the title track. They retain the deep, nourishing feel of the original, adding a more dramatic overtone. After a spinetingling breakdown, we’re led into a menacing bassline which is cleverly juxtaposed with Flilippo’s beautifully delivered vocals.

Lehar then teams up with Musumeci for the second rework of ‘The 26th Beginning’. This one features an enchanting cosmic riff, and a warm, sombre bassline. Together they add swirling synth lines to shift the original into a refreshed atmosphere. Those sublime vocals given the room to really strike the listener at the very core of their heart...
