Sibel started her musical journey by taking  classical guitar lessons in 1996. 

Her passion for music encouraged her to study “Music Technology” in DEU Faculty of Fine Arts and this was a huge step to progress in music compared to doing it as a hobby only.

During her college years, she had her first work experience by working for a radio station as a DJ.

In the mean time, she joined Izmir State Symphony Orchestra Chorus as a member, after being successful in the selection procedure. Thus, she had the opportunity to work with the most outstanding conductors in Turkey, such as Rengim Gökmen, and she continued to improve her musical quality within the choral music ambience.
As a chorist, she was first on stage to perform Mozart’s Requiem in 2001 and then she had the chance to work with very talented musicians like Fahir Atakoğlu, Fazıl Say, Yıldız İbrahimova…

In 2003, she wrote her undergraduate thesis on the sound system of latin, jazz, cabaret music band Pink Martini’s Izmir concert. 

She was also working as sound engineer & DJ for local clubs during this time.

Since 2007 she’s been living in Istanbul, continuing her works there. Jazz, soul, funk, afro, latin and electro / house versions of these genres, downtempo, organic house, deep house are her main choices for DJing as well as indie and alternative rock.
