Be Healed

I thought I'd take kind of an old-fashioned-sounding drum riff and give it more of a modern bravado. I liked it, so I added some cool chords. I liked that, so I looped it for hours and solo'd over it. Here's a couple minutes of what that sounded like.

A little something from before I bought the Strat. I was using an Ibanez hollowbody with humbuckers, but I think I had them split. I'm pretty sure I borrowed the rhythm riff from somewhere, but I can't figure out where. Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix...? Anyways, it's not my own, so have at it.

This here's an instrumental - no lyrics necessary. I went ahead and combined acoustic and electric on this one because I just love playing acoustic so much. The tuning is open Dm, which is pretty fun to play around with (try "Come Together" in an open tuning some time, you'll know what I mean).
