The meditative 'Passage' sounds as if Brian Eno has reinterpreted Lou Reed's 'Street Hassle' as an ambient track.
A heartbreaking, small ambient pop-pearl, transcendent and true.
The instrumental 'Open Up' clearly shows the groundbreaking potential that will unfold on the entire album. Distorted cello melodies like monoliths roll through reverberations and show how an innovative and authentic mix of classical, pop and noise can and should sound.
