Sick Yeah! A new podcast series.
There's never enough and since the Rave machine is still fucked we are collecting Sets of amazing musicians for your friends & family. We are starting with an absolute legend, Fat Frumos, chief in command of the Ukrainian label suck puck who is dedicating his mix to the people in Belarus who are currently protesting the re election of fascist dictator Lukashenko.

Sick Picnic was our last planned rave in Berlin due in March.
But since the outbreak of COVID-19, signs have become bad for rave and basically for all the "good" in this already quite damaged world.
We don't want to remain silent in this troubling times though, so soon, the idea of Quarantunes emerged. With tunes from Leipzig, Stuttgart, Berlin and even from Mexiko and Australia, many of our amazing rave friends provided absolute bangers which we happily want to present.


This compilation is dedicated to Simon. We are pretty sure you would have liked it.

We met elfaux at an infamous Berlin nightclub about two years ago. It was mid day at a downtempo party two of us got stuck at, not making the jump home. While sitting around quite unsatisfied with the raveless weekend, the next DJ entered the booth. 
A friend of mine who was working at the club said "that's elfaux" and I remembered that I had heard of her online and that she also played faster stuff from time to time. The Dancefloor was pretty empty, two or three people in a slow trance-dance and it was supposed to be the last set. 
I saw our chance had come so I went there to ask her to please please play a fast set and that we were longing for a rave. After (as it seemed) checking the vibe for a sec, she decided to go for it. What followed was a perfect wild ride through the genres from dubstep to breakcore, changing speeds and styles constantly, but always keeping it all together with a hip hop kind of vibe that for sure no one had expected at that party and gave the two of us the dance we  had been urging for.

Schurkensound is easing existence in the inhospitable south of Germany far away from the rest of his crew. Making a living as an exterminator and being a jack of all trades in general, he knew the real deal about music when most of us were still popping pills and listening to tech house. Numerous times he destroyed Dancefloors with crispy sets of wonky techno, mutant bass, breakcore, speedcore and sometimes just utter trash.
Being that modest and self critical rave archive he is, we didn't manage to record a set so far, but finally it happened. Thank you Gurke, we love you a lot

Sick FM Vol. 4 // Schurkensound

'We are creeping our way out of this year's crap and we are ready for a new year of delicious fresh crap.

The global pandemic kept us from dancing and socializing and we had to reinvent our homes and egos. What we learned from it is that we are not alone and that Rave is here to stay and can unfold it's magic in livestreams, radioshows and Chatrooms.

We met so many new friends this way and stayed in contact with old ones and we want to thank everyone who was delivering top content just naturally and uncommercially all year to stay sane and creative. We we want to celebrate this with both a digital and a tape release!

So we can all listen to it in our warm and comforting homes and forget for a little moment how fucked up our world is.
