"The inspiration to this was pretty simple: I've been fucking angry about this whole fucking year because of the victims and the restrictions and all that, so when we recorded it, I let it out, after looking for that SD card to the Tascam for a fucking hour" - Prince Matt, the host of Cliché Bodies and Torso party series told us about his brand new mix which ranges from occult sound experiments to high-octane thumping. For signals 012 we welcome Glaswegian DJ and Visual Mutator, Georgina Penstkart.

As a DJ, we know her mostly for her contribution to local radio - appearing on Clyde Built, and more recently with her residency on Radio Buena Vida.

DJ business aside, Penstkart is known for her work as a visual artist. She has a wide array of experience and has worked on many projects such as Sync 24's Club Techno, resident VJ at Shoot Your shot, live streaming at SWG3 with Bonzai Bonner and Nightwave, as well as regularly collaborating with local after hours crew and record label, Lunacy.

Penstkart works at Glasgow based modular synth company, Instruo. As well as this, she also co-runs her own music video production company called Flustervision. 

This hour is packed with serious Electro Firepower. Dark, dingy, hard-hitting high energy goodness. Public House mainstays such as Gesloten Cirkel included. The vibe on this one is killer.

Raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and of Cape Verdean descent, Nala Brown has been cultivating a sound that explores the intersection of house, techno and bass earning her the title of “Rotterdams rising rave star”. She's also part of Rotterdam collective AMPFEMININE, which aims to add a lovely variety of color in nightlife.

For the third episode of their show Unravel, James Lotion has invited the Berlin based queer music nerd Golden Medusa for a digital B2B. 

On the contrary to a classic B2B this one was recorded from their homes in Copenhagen and Berlin over a period of two weeks of sharing emails. One by one they recorded a part of the mix, each time responding to the previous recording. 

The result is a moody, chuggy adventure featuring downtempo moments, erratic breaks, emotional melodies and experimental sound design.

In solidarity with the Palestinian people they end the mix with Jessika Khazrik's track Kushajam's Recital استظهار كُشاجم - which revisits an Abbasid poem around a cosmic water clock, written by a 10th c. Palestinian poet.''

Originally from Holland, they moved to Copenhagen in 2012 and have been contributing to the local queer club scene since as part of the queer and trans DJ and club collective @sweatrave , resident at Ved Siden Af and host of the bi-monthly show Unravel at Swedish @retreatradio 

With this mix, James Lotion delivers a dense and eclectic speaker work-out filled with experimental club sounds and as always a healthy dose of dance floor politics. Get ready to jump onto this dystopian train that is heading full speed ahead into the night - final destination unknown.
