TVNDRA – DON’T TRY THIS [Bass Militia]

The Militia calls once again, and our seasoned soldier TVNDRA answers with firepower. Marking his 8th campaign with the label, his 12th weapon overall, and his 4th feature release, TVNDRA stands tall as one of our most battle-hardened producers. Known for unleashing devastating rounds of dubstep-infused 4x4, reinforced with heavy kicks and stab-driven melodies, he returns to the frontlines with a fresh tactic.

On DON’T TRY THIS, TVNDRA sticks to his tried-and-tested mutant 4x4 assault in the first drop before pulling a tactical switch on the second, deploying an experimental, Berlin-inspired techno formation that drags the battlefield into a darker, more industrial territory. It’s a daring manoeuvre, executed with precision, and proof of his unrelenting evolution as a Bass Militia commander.

To reinforce the mission, three more heavyweights step up for remix duties:

⚔️ PLUVIO – A decorated veteran of Bass Militia, Pluvio returns to the field carrying the banners of Symbiotik Records and Audio Swarm. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the Neuro Breaks movement, his arsenal of percussive weaponry and intricate Neuro design has humbled many in combat. His remix of DON’T TRY THIS is another calculated strike of surgical precision, a reminder why few dare to face him in a drum showdown. Today, we also raise a toast to the soldier himself, happy birthday Pluvio and honour his continued service on the frontlines.

⚔️ KIZZA – A rising warlord whose arrival just two months ago with the Synaptic Overload EP and his brutal Yolked remix has already shaken the battleground. KIZZA fights with relentless energy, his basslines strike like artillery fire, and his melodies carve chaos into every frontline he touches. In a time where many soldiers imitate one another, KIZZA’s vision cuts through like a blade, original, ruthless, and impossible to ignore. His remix of DON’T TRY THIS is pure carnage, another reminder that he’s a dangerous new commander in the Bass Militia ranks.

⚔️ KEPTEK – A fresh recruit making her Bass Militia debut, Keptek storms onto the battlefield armed with a hybrid arsenal of hardtek and drum & bass. Her weaponry blends pounding 4-to-the-floor kicks, rolling breakbeats, and razor-edged vocal chops, creating a crossfire of unrelenting energy. Known for turning every dancefloor she commands into a warzone, Keptek’s remix is a high-octane bombardment that announces her arrival to the Militia with authority. This is just the beginning of her campaign. Believe us, she’s already firing on all cylinders.

Asif Kid is a talented and passionate music producer, audio engineer, and DJ with a deep-rooted love for music that has fueled his journey in the music industry. Born on 27th January 1995, Asif's musical journey began when he started going to Rinse FM as a volunteer in 2017, immersing himself in the world of radio production and connecting with influential artists and producers, including Uncle Dugs, for Drum and Bass Jungle shows.

Through his collaboration with renowned DJ Slimzee, Asif Kid co-founded "E3 Breaks," and their original track "Judgement Day" garnered widespread recognition and sales on both vinyl and digital platforms. These experiences have not only honed Asif's production and sound design skills but also allowed him to expand his network and gain invaluable insights into the music industry.

As a skilled DJ, Asif Kid has graced the stages of various events and festivals, including an electrifying performance at Outlook Festival 2018, where he impressed audiences on the Moat stage and contributed to an unforgettable boat party.

Determined to push creative boundaries, Asif signed a publishing deal with Locked In Music in 2018, leading to dynamic collaborations with artists like Mob Set and Adekunle Gold. Additionally, his production work caught the attention of Nike, earning him a track placement in a commercial advertisement.

Taking his talent and vision across borders, Asif ventured to Los Angeles in 2020, collaborating with artists such as Azealia Banks and gaining further expertise in recording, mixing, and editing, while also gaining insights into the thriving US music industry.

Currently signed with Pretty Decent Music Records Limited, Asif Kid continues to release captivating tracks, including collaborations with well-known artists under the Ninja Tune label, proving his versatility and adaptability within the music industry.

Beyond his musical prowess, Asif Kid has showcased his entrepreneurial skills, establishing a presence in the sample pack market and successfully managing his website to reach a wider audience.

With a passion for sharing his music and knowledge, Asif hosts his own radio shows on Subtle Radio in Hackney, featuring his original works, and on *****  in Kyiv under the alias "***********," exploring the realms of UK Garage and Breaks.
