LIBELID is a love-song cycle adapted by Ola Bilińska accompanied by a band of experienced musicians from Gdańsk, Warsaw and Sejny. It is a natural continuation of the album “Berjozkele – Yiddish Lullabies and Evening Songs” released by the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw. The album was awarded the title of the Folk Record of the Year 2014 both by the Polish Radio II and in a competition organized by the influential folk.pl portal. LIBELID, which develops the idea initiated by/in Berjozkele of modern adaptation of Jewish music in Yiddish, had its premiere on 26 April 2015 at the finale of the New Jewish Music festival at the History of Polish Jews Museum in Warsaw. The concert, enthusiastically received by the audience, was recorded by the Polish Radio II. The album LIBELID was released on May 5, 2016.
