It calls upon the quiet devotion of Srimanta Shankardev (1449 -1568) — reformer, poet, and pioneer of the Bhakti Movement in Assam, who envisioned a path of love, simplicity, and surrender — and the raw primordial power of Ma Kamakhya, the fierce, fertile embodiment of Shakti.

Two seemingly opposing forces in the spiritual universe, held together in reverence.

It represents the awakening of individual consciousness (Jivatma) to its true nature, its connection to the universal consciousness (Paramatma). The gradual ascent of its phrases, from the deep mandra saptak to the higher registers, signifies the journey of the soul towards enlightenment.
