PhD in Post Human Dance is a slogan of Helsinki based AV collective and event series run by multidisciplinary artist Erika Shalii and CCI artist Maisa Immonen. Post Human Dance is a medium for studying future scenarios through organising events and creating audiovisual club experiences. Its a platform with a focus on modern hybrid club music and futurist visual aesthetics with elements of interactive new media. "Wings of Ephemerida" was compiled to finalize first 2 years of "Post Human Dance" platform's existence.

A mayfly Ephemeridae's live is brief. It lasts only one day, but no one would value this day as much as it would Ephemeridae.

Astraltopia is the third and final compilation in the Topia series, as well as the terminal release in the Astral Plane Recordings catalog. Made up of contributions from longtime APR artists and friends, Astraltopia traverses outgrowths of past label releases, novel sonic formulations and the infra-zones between and underneath extant club sounds. Accompanied by artwork from Sam Meier and mastering by Will Mitchell, the compilation follows 2012’s Heterotopia and 2015’s Psychotropia, both of which preceded the formal inauguration of Astral Plane Recordings. Contributions include material from Alis, Amazondotcom, CHANTS, Dane Law, LOFT, Maral, MICHAELBRAILEY (with Iceboy Violet), nunu and SHALT. The 43rd release of katharsis is the album “Love Language” by the Danish artist icfam. It is evocative like a long makeout session, tongue action specifically. icfam celebrates the long journeys to daydreamy destinations on a record that is romantic and peaceful, yet at times highly energetic.

Through streamlined synthesis and arrangements, icfam produces a composite world of sound that carries a message of love and simplicity. Despite the meticulous care for sound design on this record, the use of intuitive sounds and phrases so simple, sometimes approaches a sort of mindlessness. Building conceptually on sinewaves as the only sound that really exists, the artist develops a nonfragmented illusion through obsession over the harmonic series and melodies within melodies.

Love Language is both reassuring and mystifying, like your favourite lullaby. As well as intoxicatingly painful like exquisite torture. icfam wants to express a special feeling one might get from going to the hospital. A cathartic feeling of being safe and held.

Producer, vocalist, DJ, and dancer Andras_2020 is a rising figure in Europe’s burgeoning electronic music
scene. Originally from Brazil, the artist garnered a dedicated following by releasing their intricate and
textured debut EP, “Cuerpo Temperamental (acting in concert),” in 2021. This success was followed by
the Cuerpo Tour, which saw Andras enthralling audiences across Europe and the UK for nearly two years.
As a live performer, Andras’ work amalgamates contemporary dance and club culture. Their performances
fuse the visceral materiality of the body, violent screams, and poetry, exploring themes of survival and
physical transformation, contrasted with the gentleness of soft pop live aesthetics.
Motivated by a desire and natural ability to fuse personal experiences with creative expression, Andras
released “Blowhole” for Rest Now!. The title candidly contrasts the concept of inhaling and exhaling
through a hole, like cetaceans, with anal pleasure and its associations with queerness and discomfort.
At the base of the creative process lies the recovery experience from a series of major rectal surgeries,
serving as a paradox and a mirroring of the shame, sorrow, pain, and torment they endured during such
a period.
The EP balances its profoundly personal core with a lively and polished avant-garde pop exterior,
showcasing prominent synthetic sounds and metallic textures, evoking the ambiance of an operating
room or the calls of dolphins. Andras’ second bedroom studio record features collaborations with thrilling
artists such as Bristol-based Sarahsson and MICHAELBRAILEY.
