Based in Columbus, OH, Mike Powers more properly known as Powers Up, is a producer/DJ who’s on the up and up. His remarkable talent ranges through a variety of genres but where his heart truly lies is Drum and Bass and Deep Dubstep. Powers Up discovered his love for electronic music after witnessing Pretty Lights nearly a decade ago. Since then he has been honing his craft with many savvy self releases via Bandcamp, Soundcloud and most streaming services, including a hot off the press 2024 showcase mix. Powers up pours raw emotion into his music, when you open your ears and LISN UP you’ll feel a lifetime of experiences engulf you with every beat.

Sidestage represents music and art you would stumble upon in the dimly lit side room of a house party, or tucked away in the remote reaches of a festival far from the main stage.  

Our goal as a collective of dreamers and builders is to foster a forward-thinking, open, and progressive community by creating a visible platform for experimental artists, inspiring local creatives to share their ideas, and encouraging all to express themselves through a shared outlet. 

We believe in giving back to the communities we belong to and regularly partner with local non-profits and believe in the power of organic growth and small, but persistent change.
