ਅਛਰ ਆਦਿ ਅਨੀਲ ਅਨਾਹਦ ਸਤ ਸਦੈਵ ਤੁਹੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਾ ॥
achhar aadh aneel anaahadh sat sadhaiv tuhee karataaraa ||
ਹੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ! ਤੂੰ ਅਛਰ (ਛਲ-ਰਹਿਤ) ਆਦਿ, ਅਨੀਲ, ਅਨਾਹਦ (ਅਪਾਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
O Lord! Thou art Indestructible, Beginningless, limitless and ever Truth-incarnate and Creator

ਜੀਵ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਲ ਮੈ ਥਲ ਮੈ ਸਬ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਪੇਟ ਕੌ ਪੋਖਨ ਹਾਰਾ ॥
jeev jite jal mai thal mai sab kai sadh peT kau pokhan haaraa ||
ਜਲ ਅਤੇ ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ, (ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਰਹਾ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਪੇਟ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
Thou art the sustainer of all the beings living in water and on plain

ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
bedh puraan kuraan dhuhoo(n) mil bhaat anek bichaar bichaaraa ||
ਵੇਦ, ਪੁਰਾਨ, ਕੁਰਾਨ (ਦੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਦੋਹਾ (ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾ) ਨੇ ਮਿਲਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਰ੍ਰਹਾ ਤਰ੍ਰਹਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਹਨ।

ਔਰ ਜਹਾਨ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਏ ਸੁਬਹਾਨ ਤੁਹੀ ਸਿਰਦਾਰਾ ॥੬॥
aauar jahaan nidhaan kachhoo neh e subahaan tuhee siradhaaraa ||6||
ਹੇ ਅਸਚਰਜ (ਸੁਬਹਾਨ) ਰੂਪ! (ਇਸ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਕੇਵਲ) ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੋਵੇਾਂਗਾ ॥੬॥
But O Lord! there is none else like Thee in the whole universe  thou art the supremely Chaste Lord of this universe.6.

ਘਨਹਰ ਬੂੰਦ ਬਸੁਅ ਰੋਮਾਵਲਿ ਕੁਸਮ ਬਸੰਤ ਗਨੰਤ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
 ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਣੀਆਂ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ, ਬਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲ—ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ । 
The raindrops of the clouds, the plants of the earth, and the flowers of the spring cannot be counted.

ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਕਿਰਣਿ ਉਦਰੁ ਸਾਗਰ ਕੋ ਗੰਗ ਤਰੰਗ ਅੰਤੁ ਕੋ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਪੇਟ ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਠਿਲ੍ਹਾਂ—ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕੌਣ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
Who can know the limits of the rays of the sun and the moon, the waves of the ocean and the Ganges?

ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਕਬਿ ਜਨ ਭਲ੍ਯ ਉਨਹ ਜੋੁ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਹੇ ਭਲ੍ਯ ਕਵੀ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉਪਰ-ਦੱਸੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ, 
With Shiva's meditation and the spiritual wisdom of the True Guru, says BHALL the poet, these may be counted.

ਭਲੇ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਤੋਹਿ ਬਨਿ ਆਵੈ ॥੧॥੨੨॥
ਪਰ ਭੱਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਏ ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ! ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ । ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਤੰੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ।੧।੨੨।
