Passionate about techno for more than 20 years, I had the chance to discover this music when I was 16, through an unforgettable tape of Furious ( SYMBOL 400)

I started mixing at 17 on Omnitronic belt decks and a primitive 80's nightclub mixer.

Soon enough, I started to work with my friend KAOP (Grégoire Baudequin), first with the softwareACID, then FRUITY LOOPS, SOUNDFORGE and the addition of an ELECTRIBE NOIR machine with HIPHOP sounds.

A long series of productions with various influences, and Grégoire's genius for constructing complex and fine rhythms brought an incredible quality to these works made in total autodidact.

But Grégoire decided to leave  the Netherlands overnight and trained in a private sound school which propelled him to become technical director of big Dutch nightclubs.

Our adventure ended just as opportunities began to arise for our work to be played on stage and pressed on records. 
I also found myself regularly running the first TECHNO SHOP in CAEN for a few years: COSMONOISE.

Opened by SEB, this shop quickly became a reference in the Underground productions for FREEPARTY & TEKNIVAL which were exploding in France.

Through his label KRYZALIDE, he launched the career of multiple artists who became pillars of this scene:
MAISSOUILLE, FLOXYTEK, BILLYX and many others...

He also presses on vinyl the magnifient tracks of MEM PAMAL's cult live set : "ACID TEST".

After a period where I put my turntables away, 
I meet QEBRUS (thomas) who will change my life.

I discovered his totally extreme musical universe and his crazy sound design... Already recognized in the USA and in the eastern countries, he is quoted and played by artists like VENETIAN SNARES, APHEX TWINS, OTTO VON SCHIRACH, RICHARD DEVINE...

His last scene took place in the USA, in TEXAS in a festival where APHEX TWINS, BJORK, FLYING LOTUS...and many other artists played.
During this event, APHEX TWINS played several tracks of QEBRUS in a huge and massive 2 hours set.

Thomas already has an important career in the international intelligent dance music and glitch scene but in France, it is complicated for him to get dates and to spread his extra-terrestrial sound universe.

He asked me to become his agent for France, and there, I will live 2 years completely incredible, unique memories that Thomas offered me, who was a REAL friend.

Thanks to the work done to find dates for him, I found myself meeting Venetian Snares, OTTO VON SCHIRACH or I found myself on stage with Thomas when OTTO came to Paris.
...
And many other memories and incredible meetings (ADZ BOOKING, SPIRAL TRIBE, CAPSULE CORPS, SOMNIAC ONE, MANU LE MALIN...).

Unfortunately Thomas left us suddenly while he was preparing an album with OTTO VON SCHIRACH.

Following this tragic event, I decided to really get back into the mix with the aim of using music to heal pain through sound frequencies and to offer a moment of freedom, sharing and benevolence.

With the SurbQX project (QEBRUS = SurbQX - game of mirrors) I wish to propose a personal and original universe, a dark and introspective techno mixing loss of reference points and dancefloor rhythms tinged with hybrid influences like DUB, HIPHOP and other selections.
