This track has strong elements from africa and south america giving it that samba/ salsa / stroke Afro-Caribbean feel to it. Wanted to create a track displaying cutural sounds from my upbringing as well as using sounds heard from neighbouring cultures. Giving you that getaway holiday feeling mixed with a more modern futuristic sound which comes in towards the end of the track giving it that twist and change in mood of the song.

A Song From Africa

I stubbled across the knightrider type sample for this track and just played around with the loops until before i knew it i was cooking something real exciting. This track has a lot of different elements to the track which helps build suspense to the track. i used different tools in this track such as fading, where  a particular loops is gradually brought into the track starting from a low level, slowing coming in until the sounds reach the same level as the rest of the sounds in the track. i also used some sound effects in the track incorporating howling wind which added to the track as that part of the track changes with the track starting to build its self up again. i like to bend the rules in life so why can't I do it with my music lol.

Bend The Rules

One of my favourites so far very much hip-hop orientated with some sounds from the pacific implemented into the track fusing different genres of music together, with still that touch of the urban sound.

Urban Symphony

This track was inspired by me listening to rap since i was a kid, loving a good old fashioned beat that a lyrist could get his teeth into. Kept this beat relatively simple with ear catching samples as well as drops and cuts in the beat just to keep the listener interested. I took a bit of the old school boom bap rap sound and added some modern kits just to give it that edge to create a back to the future type sound hence the name. I also slowed down the original tempo to give it that classic rap feel so a variety of different styles can be adapted to the track.

Back To The Future

This was influenced from my older sister listening to all her rnb music in her room as a younger boy with that typical eighties / nineties flow feeling. this would often make me reminisce to a part in my life where I was a some point in time happy with my life. This was also a task to see if I could come across softer in my delivery of a track while still maintaining that hip hop era.

NYC To LDN

Taking you back to them old school methods where you make a gd old fashioned loop and let the lyrists ride the beat some of the best music is formed this way and sometimes off the dome if captured in real time. Had element of American aspects of it using some Brooklyn kits and bass as in my younger days they were the ones that were coming off all the dope rhymes.took me right back to my days when you were young dumb and reckless.

Down in the dirt

With this beat i took my time on the arrangement and construction of the delivery and timing as into when certain chops and changes happen aswell as what instruments are playing alongside each other. At the beginning of the track its got a little 4 bar intro where the tune plays back on itself before coming in with the main chorus to start the tune off. There are jazzy themes and elements of the blues in the this track which catch you at times if you are paying attention. Jazzin With The Blues

I made this track to thinking in my mind i want to make a soulful house tune. When I first starting making beats the tracks that I was initially first making were funky or house tunes. Then I began to learn more as i kept making beats then learned about how to set the tempo of a track which really changed things in my beatmaking skills. Basically as I have been making a lot of rap beats recently I wanted to have a bit of variety in my catalogue of beats so i opted to make a house track this time around. With this beat I used a keyboard to build the main base of the track then incorporated the rest of the track with loops to give the track a more fuller effect. Feel the Vibe

After hearing the down in the dirt original track over again i then began to think i could of done more too the track. Please take the time to listen to the track as i feel i have totally transformed this track from a dark gloomy sound to a much more upbeat faster tempo track. I also sped up the tempo to give it a more jumpy skippy feel so i feel this track will and should get a better response and feedback. Keep following and any comments will be taken on board.

If you have been following my catalogue of beats so far you should have began to pick up where i get my inspiration and my style from especially when making my rap beats. Influenced by the old school essence of hip hop and trying to create the classic sound with a new age twist to it. The track undress your mind is a track I made to basicially just to let the music take you on a journey of being in a relaxed state of mind. This track is and was out of my comfort zone but i wanted to see what i could come up with on a more slower soulful outtake. There are some string instruments used along with a backline b-line with a iittle latina blend infused into the track.

Undress Your Mind

Been trying to make different tracks from the ones your used to hearing me make. Trying to come out my comfort zone and test my skills in other genres of music. This is a more relaxing track with some key musical instruments being incorporated to the music to give the track more body and more feel. Tried to keep the listener interested by chopping and changing the beat around while keeping its relaxing flow.

Relaxtion

This track is another house track to add to the catalogue of beats I have made. Want to have variety of different genres under my belt as being versatile opens up more door ways and possibitlies. Used panning on this track which i recently was taught and in fact i think really helped give the track more body and feeling. Transferring the sounds left and right against each other making some sounds sound louder  in one ear than the other gave the track a whole new dimension. Will deffo be using the panning technique in future projects. The track has a nice bubbly feel to it, feel free to give  the track a listen and like and subscribe if you wanna hear more music from myself.

House Steps

After feedback from the original track there felt like the track was a key element missing from the track....... a B line. Going back to the drawing board i made subtle but drastic change to the track adding the missing key element of the Bass line. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the changes with the track having more depth with the added bass. Let me know your feedback in your thoughts and comments and hope you enjoy.

House Steps Remix

this track is a personal favourite of mine so far as in terms of making a funky beat. The basslines and the cuts and changes in the track really do it for me aswell as having that upbeat vibe that just makes you wanna party. This track is also an MCs dream you can really attack the track and lay some gd vocals down if you apply yourself the track aint hard for you to sound good, a half decent catchy flow will have you sounding like top mic man. The energy of the track is really strong and you get a feel good factor from the track, deffo one to watch.

Step With The Bounce

Had a lot of work put into this project surrounding the actual finished article. I worked very hard on the arrangement aswell as the mixing down process at the very end which i found myself spending an awful lot of time making sure all the instruments sounded right. I am particularly paying more attention how the output of the track sounds when playing back on speakers thats why the sound is so important to get right at the mixing stage when completing the track.  Attentiion to detail is key as listening to your track on big speakers thats where you pick up on any distortion, certain track levels sounding higher than others aswell as initial reactions when other people hear your track through large speakers. Inspiration for the track came about from me finding the choir sample, i feel it adds a feel of gospel throughout the track as the choir sound is pretty dominant throughout the track. i feel production wise this has to be one of my best mixed down track done by myself so far in my production journey.

Hear Me

Started off as an East London Grime MC by the name of S.I.D with the group called Remand Kru. Played on a number of pirate radio stations in the early 2000s such as Mystic FM, Heat FM and Deja Vu. Went off the scene as i had kids but have recently returned to music in the form of beat making aswell as writing lyrics. i hope you like and receive the music in the way fit and i hope you enjoy the music!!!
