You Are Famous

this is a very early demo for a Perfumer track
i made it last night with my 80's Yamaha PSS-50 and my phone.

this was not meant to see the light of day, but yet here it is, hope you like.

the danger(demo)

a poem I made when I was 17.
untouched for 5 years now, and destined for a project that never came. but thought I'd share it. sending you all love.

Dance to the stop (July 2019)

Hope this makes you smile, I made it this evening.

The Other Side / demo

A song I wrote when I was 17, on the day of a death close to me. China Bird is about life and death and all the weird stuff in the middle.

China Bird - Sidney’s version.mp3

This song is about relinquishing shame and moving forward.

Written / Composed by Sidney Spong

LEAVE IT (demo)

a song about that weird feeling when you're on ur ones too long.
written and recorded in my room today(a sunday), 11/11/18
ps ruchia bundy i miss u

lyrics:
bad coffee
you didn't follow his advice again it seems
the air feels like dreams
its like waking up in the evening after sleep

so take the air out my lungs
or take your hands off my mind
sin runs down my throat
this coffee tastes like goodbyes

and i swear I saw a ghost
i guess nostalgia's died
because you live inside
your memories
in disdain of your life

and now mundanity is worse than being sad
and you live inside a home made out of glass
all the medicine made you sleep through your birthday
and now you're scared to be alone
on a weird sunday

I don't think I'm getting up this week
this weight ain't heavy but my spine is weak
I'd change myself but i don't know what i should keep
weird sundays and cloudy skies for weeks

run back to his arms
like a song on rewind
all your friends say they won't
watch you worship the guy

who hurts you the most
but you wish you could show them why
he's better than mundanity
the smell of nothing in your mind
ooh.

and now mundanity is worse than being sad
and you live inside a home made out of glass
all the valium made you sleep through your birthday
and now you're scared to be alone
on a weird sunday

Weird Sunday

mouthbreather ive stayed in my bed for days
who the hell are you calling a human being
seek out all of my imperfections
and ill scratch up your vinyl collection
and curse at all the gods so for once it will be you they have to question

wait for it's quiet
to teach then all a lesson

friends are constructs we're all alone in space
that's what she said
but I can't believe her because I've found him
people are stupid with their cares and woes
my problems are way more important than yours

mouthbreather ive stayed in my bed for days
now who the hell are you calling a human being
not me

so we sat on the windowledge in blankets and watched the sun rise loop on a monochrome town with apathy splattered like gray paint over the concrete
and we frowned, because the faces that passed our dangling legs each looked like pencilled out paintings that never quite made it to colour
the sky was a soapy gray and tiny raindrops fell onto the pavement bellow us like snow that should have been but didn't. we both felt like we had this emotion before, like that bittersweet feeling you get when you've over napped or when you look at old photos of your parents and realise that you are an improvisation, a probability.
as the people left their houses like wind up soldiers matching one step after another into their ford fiestas we sat and watched them doing so and for one fucking second we left those black and white streets of dover. for then we were in colour.

i could've fit in the palm of your hand
Ill flinch and I'll turn and I'll fall out again
