Das aus Hamburg stammende Projekt Arts & Leni startete 2011 mit druckvollem Sound, Releases auf „Tach & Nacht“, „Ton liebt Klang“ und dem Homelabel „Tächno“.
Der druckvolle, gleichzeitig verspielte Sound zwischen herzerwärmenden Klangfarben und treibenden Rhythmen lässt alle Tänzer*innen sanft in die Nacht gleiten, geht ab wie eine Rakete in ungeahnte Dimensionen, dass man kurz vor den Freudentränen steht, ehe es die Punktladung gibt und man wieder dort abgeliefert wird, wo man landen wollte.

She came in touch with electronic music the first time in 2003. First indecisive, She tried mixing minimal and electro sounds in 2011, but it outweighed the love for techno.

Musical influences are for example artists like Virgil Enzinger, Knobs, Sawf, Subfractal, Drumcell, Ryuji Takeuchi in the area of techno and artists like Vitalic, Modeselektor or Niconé in the area of Electro/Minimal.

Her first release “667 – one step ahead the devil” {Zensur} is held more experimentally-minimal whereas “Creepers & Crawlers” {Subwoofer-Rec.} reveals a clear, dark structure. The EP “Keep it” {NewGeneration Rec.} came as an collaboration with SiD.K in 2014 which sounds much more mature than previous releases.

Since then, she found more and more to a better workflow and especially to her own style.

Wer ist Hellauf & Begeistert?

Eine Sandkasten Freundschaft und die Liebe zur Musik. Musikalisch ist das Kollektiv Hellauf & Begeistert eine umfangreiche Ergänzung der beiden Künstler AndiDepressiva & Benschenskinder, mit einem individuellen Sound, der sich weder einschränken lässt, noch sich in ein Gerne drücken lässt.
In ihren Arrangements, finden sich vielfältige Harmonien und treibende Bässe um das für sie mögliche Optimum an Druck heraus zu holen. Nach einer Kreativen Pause von 4 Jahren haben die beiden 2016 ihre gemeinsame Liebe zur Musik wieder entdeckt und wieder fest gestellt, zusammen macht das Spielen einfach so viel mehr Spaß. 
Mit ihrem Auftritt beim SoundHorn Festival startete der 2. Teil ihrer Musikalischen Geschichte, es folgten Auftritte u.a. mit Drauf & Dran und weitere Club Gigs im Laufe des Winters 2016.
Unser Ziel ist es nicht bekannt zu werden wir wollen einfach Spaß an der Musik haben und wenn dies die Leute mitreißt haben wir schon mehr als genug erreicht. 
Getreu unserem Motto wir nehmen uns selber nicht so ernst.
