South London’s finest pair of Chris’s (Chris Watson and Chris Coupe) are back as FYI Chris with the feel good EP of the summer. Taking in ballroom energy, deep rolling psychedelic techno and sun drenched house, “Elephant Road” is one of their strongest cuts to date. The 4-track EP was released July 12th on Rhythm Section International, a label FYI Chris have worked with numerous times in the past. Rhythm Section International was created in Peckham in 2014 by DJ and radio host Bradley Zero. The label has released an eclectic array of records from artists across the world, but “Elephant Road” is arguably the labels hardest release yet. 

Today's premiere is the track “Daze ft. Simeon Jones”. It feels destined to be an after-party anthem with its atmospheric, trippy grooves and eerie instrumental. “Daze ft. Simeon Jones” will invoke movements you may not have known you were capable of, as it keeps you dancing into the wee hours of the morning. Grab your copy now on their bandcamp.

Lake District producer  Sierre  is releasing  ‘wavefunc’ , the second single from his forthcoming EP  ‘Artisan Jams’,  which is due on ltd 12” vinyl and digitally from 14 August via Practise Music. The EP is inspired by his time as a factory worker, a job from which he was made redundant just before the Covid-19 crisis. With a mixture of fear and relief, he quickly used his free time to channel his energy into some demos that he had been working on.
