Born and raised in Lebanon, Roni, RooneyNasr / XLR8, is a 21 year old DJ and Producer bringing a fresh, obscure and groovy proposal to the national and international scene. Additionally, he is the founder of "Pitchfork Beirut," the co-founder of "EKSTASIS," the label co-owner of "Bionic Room," and the manager of the underground club "Projekt" in Beirut.

Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy, having his first contact with electronic music at a young age, Rooney's picks are carefully selected to alter the listener's state of mind into something beyond consciousness.

Introducing his new identity XLR8, of his own hard techno style, he unleashed his new alias alongside the launch of his label "EKSTASIS"  with a release on December 23rd 2022.
