Turkey's Lodos takes a deep, graceful dive into progressive house with three glorious pieces of music on Animarum, his Play debut.

Lodos has had a prodigious three years - releasing house and jackin' house singles on such indie labels as Loudbit, Gearshift, and Jungle Funk. All the while, he has been raising his profile as a DJ/producer/remixer and instructor in Turkey, as a founder of the DJ collective/studio Turquilla. 

Just as his hometown of Istanbul has long been where east meets west, where the past collides with the present, the work here is a mix of classical form and contemporary function. Progressive house doesn't get much better than this.
