We held a remix competition a while back of Zaiaku and Osyris: " Behind the Lines" - a certified Neurogaze banger by the duo, off of Zaiaku's EP "In Over Your Head" release right here on SATURATE! 

Coming in as our winner of this contest was SQUAD homie and beatwizard LAVOO. LAVOO astonished us with his incredible take on the Neurogaze slugger - Sultry, dark, heavy and wonky, definite markers of the SATURATE! sound. 

Alluring and dark atmospheres, gritty and raspy neuro basslines and steady but swagged out drums that demand attention to its impeccable and intentional groove.

We would have told to recognise the signs.

This DJ and producer from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, has been mixing since a non-specific young age, but he wouldn’t get his first virtual booking until 2020. 

He said it all started after he discovered Hardwell’s weekly radio show titled Hardwell on Air, as well as finding his Ultra 2015 and 2016 sets. He calls this moment life-changing, especially after it led to him learning how to produce music. The rest, he says, is history. 

If you caught him early on, you might’ve seen him play at venues like Club 808, 7th Dimension, Phanosity, and Rizumu. But nowadays he plays mostly at Dragon Army, but he hopes to perform for LETHA and LYOKO at some point under Icecore.	 

He also has a weekly radio show called Novels of the Past, where he mixes Electro House, Big Room, Bass House, and Progressive House from both the modern era and what some people call the golden era of Electronic Music, which is during the 2010-2015 era of EDM.

He told me that when he mixes, he LOVES to play with Heavy Dubstep, but under his new side project known as IceCore, he mixes Jcore and Hardstyle.

For today, he brought us a mix inspired by artists like Usaybflow & Subtronics in terms of just sheer chaos of doubles, triples, etc. This mix will be featuring a BUNCH of tracks from fellow artists and friends from the underground scene who he feels deserve a massive spotlight in the scene. There's a certain ID from Ranunculi and a surprise artist later in the mix that he says is genuinely one of the most insane tracks ever, and he can't wait till y’all hear it.

Finally, he’s excited to announce that he'll be releasing his debut solo album under Icecore called 0NC3_HUM4N (pronounced as once human), dropping very soon. Alongside that, he wants to thank you all for all the love and support in 2025, and he can't wait to see what 2026 has in store.
