Kicking off this release is ‘Fantasy ft Roukaya B’ a light and uplifting track that brings liquid Drum and Bass to Future Formation. The track features an emotive piano part that is supported throughout by live recorded violin and cello from classically trained musician Lizzy Allen. The vocals in this track, written and performed by Roukaya B, add depth and purpose to the music, and with thoughtful lyrics, listeners are drawn in to the bright aura of ‘Fantasy’.

The second track from Sigil sees them team up with RivalTechnique. Having hosted slots for the likes of Benny Page, DJ Hazard and Turno, you know this link up will result in serious head bopping vibes. The intro gently builds up to RivalTechnique’s signature vocals before dropping in to textured layers of bass and subtly saturated drums. With an essence of jump up and some old skool jungle influences , Sigil have well and truly introduced themselves aa a force to be reckoned with.

Samurai Breaks and Kreed - The Future is Now (Sigil Remix)

Sigil is a Huddersfield based Drum n Bass outfit made up of DJs/Producers/promoters - Holsta and Sticky Edit.  

The duo have amassed a wealth of experience in the industry and have been seen smashing sets locally, all around the UK and Europe. They have been pushing the DnB sound in their local town since the early 2000’s, from underground house parties to regular club events - both of them being heavily involved in promoting the successful Inertia branded nights and more recently Future Formation. 

Sticky Edit has been involved in a number of projects including Statelapse, Prjct Nu Bld and Emae, with an extensive back catalogue including original releases on UKF, 420, Z-Audio, Ninety9Lives and remixes for Pendulum, Modestep and others.  His style is a more heavy, Neuro, Tech side of DnB which is always present in the Slavedrivers' productions.

Holsta is a lifelong Junglist and has been involved in DJing and promoting Drum and Bass to the masses for many years and with great success!  A well established and technically gifted DJ now breaking into the world of 3 / 4 deck mixing, his style is undoubtably Jump Up with some Jungle, Tech & Liquid influences.

Recently the two have been bringing both of their influences and styles together in production, creating a unique sound which is described as a bridge between Jump Up & Tech. Their first collaboration 'Strange Danger' was released on one of the original and longest standing DnB labels, the mighty Formation Records in early 2017. 
Soon after, their second track 'After Dark' was signed by Inna Rhythm Records and had the local dance floors bouncing and screaming for more (a remix of this track followed and has also been released on Formation Records). The studio is rattling with a new four track EP and these boys mean business when it comes to putting on a performance, plenty of energy behind the decks keeping the crowd in tune and wondering what’s coming next…
