This is my Breaking Bad song essentially, about one of the greatest TV characters ever envisioned. I wrote this song hella stoned about half an hour ago, honestly about the quickest song I've written in recent memory. Proof that marijuana encourages creativity, as long as you remember to actually record the song before you forget it. Hope you enjoy.

Tried to write a song this morning with a touch of Elvis Presley, a mix between a fifties sound and a modern one. Although the song's completely original. Very much a feel good song, even though its kinda sad. This song's basically about that girl you screwed in Vietnam and never saw again.

So this is the closest I'll come to doing a cover. I only take credit for the words and rhythm. This a song much closer in subject matter to the fiction I work on. Its about the horrid uncertainty of the future, and not knowing what's going to happen next. This is a little bit inspired by Stephen King's The Mist, which made a great movie EXCEPT FOR THE STUPID ENDING. That wasn't how it happened it the book, the dad didn't shoot everyone, that was retarded. Anyway, enjoy this song, its one of my personal favorites, been playing it a while.

Here's one of my older songs from a couple years ago, and one of the harder ones to play and sing at the same time. Definitely a power chord song. This is a bit of a rough recording, but I posted all the lyrics. First though, I want to spread awareness that alien abduction is not a laughing matter, and that hundreds of people are affected every year. If you are one of the afflicted, remember that tin foil hats can save your life.

This is a deeply felt song I wrote about that point in a relationship when you realize how much power you have to hurt the other person and how much power they have to hurt you, and it becomes kind of like an arms race.

Once I buy a better mic in the next couple weeks here, i'll have more professional recordings. I'll also hopefully have a youtube channel up soon. For all the demos i post here, I'll always post the lyrics, since I really like to emphasize the importance of lyrics. I've have been doing both fiction and songwriting consistently since middle school and im 22, so i take words pretty serious. I have a very minimalistic, Ernest Hemingway style of music. That is, I like to make music stripped down to its bare elements, music which stands on its own, without computer influence, or multiple tracks, or anything.  Just lyrics, melody, and rhythm (and capo!). The kind of songs you can bust out drunk at a party, as long as you got a guitar. The kind of songs that might get you laid one day, like that scene in Stranger in Fiction when Will Ferrell busts out "Whole Wide World" on guitar in this girl's apartment and gets his ass laid on the spot, even though his singing sucked. I'm talking about the kind of songs you don't need a mixer or a synthesizer or anything to perform. Not to insult computer music. I like a lot of it. That's just not what I do.

Go ahead and download or repost or share any of these songs, I encourage it. Just as long as you don't call them you're own, or else.  I should have a pretty steady output here over the next weeks, since i have more unrecorded originals than i can even keep track of. I'm hoping to start playing at bars and coffee shops pretty soon here, just gotta talk to the right people. I also encourage anyone who wants to cover any of these songs, especially better singers and people with better recording equipment. i don't profess to be an awesome at singing right now, only at songwriting. if you're interested in doing a cover, i can shoot you the lyrics with chords.
