It graciously delivers a mixture of deep, worldly, tribal, jazz, and funk infused sonic gems that excite your ears and keep those summer vibes going. This compilation consists of new and original music from our talented roster of world-class artists; comprised of tracks from KMLN, Aquarius Heaven, Cameo Culture, John Camp, Greg Paulus, Pattern Drama feat. Candida, Tone Of Arc, Signal Flow, Shinny Objects, Finley, Elon feat. Mr. Reed, Jonny Cruz, Flavio Acaron, Ominous, Ray Zuniga and newcomer Dunmore Park. This digital compilation also includes a continuous mix by TOC artist, Corey Baker a.k.a. Pattern Drama, combining the different tempos, textures, and genres to tell us a story through the power of sounds.

Indian Summer: Volume Three

Signal Flow, Ominous, Aquarius Heaven - Undeniably Complicated (PREVIEW)

Touch Of Class is proud to deliver its first digital single of 2017, a springtime gem entitled, “On the Shelf” featuring vocals by the talented, Amelia — recorded and produced by Dan Berkson and James What. The production partners are individually known for making their marks in the underground electronic scene, both with releases on various notable labels including Crosstown Rebels and Poker Flat, while also running their own imprint, Modelmaker Records.

The five track EP consists of the duo’s original single which is laid down with a driving, tantalizing bass line met with the melodic lyrics of North Carolina based vocalist, Amelia. The jazzy rhodes and vocal edits interlace delicately with swung out percussive drum patterns creating a timeless garage-house, summer tune sure to get any dancefloor moving.

“On the Shelf” is accompanied by four eclectic remixes, each satisfying a disparate moment and sound while respectfully preserving the essence of the original record. Brooklyn’s underground house hero, Jovonn, contributes with a stripped down dub version arranged with heavy drums and a simplistic take on the vocal arrangement — an essential tune for any selector. Chicago legend, Roy Davis Jr., follows up with a peak time interpretation, a perfect jam for the club and festival vibes.

The third remix comes from Grammy winning producer and sound engineer, Dave Robertson, also known as Cameo Culture, who after hearing the tune was instantly reminded of an old Matthew Herbert record, inspiring his use of “real” and organic drum sounds. Cameo’s remix evokes this natural aesthetic throughout, artfully recrafting the original arrangement and composition. The final rendition of the release comes from label founders, Michael Tello and Ray Zuniga aka. Signal Flow. The dynamic duo’s lively rendition presents a melodious, yet groovy journey influenced by their diverse musical palettes and Latin heritage.

The imprint kicks off its fourth year as the new and enriched, Touch Of Class Music, with a full and dynamic release schedule to be distributed worldwide on digital format only. Recognized for its selective and sophisticated sound, the label’s catalogue of timeless anthems promises to be appreciated by all music enthusiasts. Exclusive Jake The Rapper 'Time To Waste (Signal Flow & Pattern Drama Remix)'

You don't want to meet Jack The Ripper when going camping but you surely should keep your ears open when American artist Jake The Rapper borrows his voice for a release that has the potential to lure you into the underground. 'Time To Waste' in a Signal Flow & Pattern Drama remix  unites three striving artists from the US in one track who dedicate their musical approach to deep and left field oriented soundscapes that take an almost uplifting twist in the course of the track. Jake The Rapper's vocals, which are predominant in the original, play a subordinate role in the remix as the vocal snippets are merely used to accentuate the synth melody and guide the listener through this Italo Disco-ish influenced version. 'Time To Waste (Signal Flow & Pattern Drama Remix)' hence can be seen as a homage to both: the early disco house sound or the revival of it in the mid noughties. Either way it's electronic music with a message and identity.

Jake The Rappers 'Time To Waist' will be released March 2nd, 2018 on Happy Camper Records.
