Drawing inspiration from house legends like Derrick Carter & Honey Dijon, Karim seamlessly melds house, techno, club, and disco, striking a harmonious balance between intensity and tranquility. Expect tight mixing, cunty vocals galore, and a strong appreciation for the classics - just how we like it!

SMS006 // Chad Beisner - Live at Signal

After a brief hiatus, our mix series resumes with none other than NY’s own DONIS — serving up a mix of warm and soulful house grooves just as the temperatures start to drop

DONIS is a Dominican American DJ/Producer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. His style embodies both tradition and innovation, often rinsing NYC club classics while pushing contemporary global club sounds. In the DJ booth, he combines excellent mixing skills with an innate ability to read the crowd, both responding to their desires while setting his own sonic agenda. He explores a combination of genres ranging from Soulful House, Afro House, to Techno and Disco. DONIS has been invited to grace the decks of some prestigious underground clubs and parties, namely, Soul In The Horn, Papi Juice, Dweller Festival, Le Bain, Basement and Public Records. He has most recently self released their second EP Metamorphosis02 and currently holds residencies at renowned club Nowadays, and The Lot Radio.
