After seven years in the game and a number of various side projects, Apparel Music has recently announced another venture. Apparel Wax, the newest addition to curator Giuseppe D'Alessandro aka KiSk's lineup is one strictly for the heads with the focus being solely on the music. The artists of each release will not be revealed but will rather all be under the collective umbrella of the Apparel Wax brand. The direction of the music will be largely influenced by disco, funk and jazz. It seems that the new catalogue is already catching on as the first release is currently sitting at number 5 on the deep house best sellers list on Juno.

We were of course naturally quite curious to find out some more details about the new project and managed to get some further insight from Giuseppe himself, as well as a fresh mix with current and forthcoming Apparel Wax gems. Read the full interview below!

Iñaki Hurtado Diaz aka Hurlee was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain in 1986. Tilman is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Mainz, Germany. He runs the longstanding and successful Klamauk label alongside the Fine imprint, a label he co-runs with Johannes Albert. Coming from a hip hop background, Tilman now champions a sound that takes in house, soul, disco and funk. He is an integral part of the Rhein-Main district’s club scene where he plays and hosts club nights. Bookings across the rest of Europe and North America, however, has become a regular feature for him too. The success of his Love EP on Fine and In My Mind EP on Faces really took him from well-known secret to an established booking across many clubs.

He entered the scene in 2017 when he started performing at clubs, private and branded events such as Lollapalooza (Buenos Aires), Corona Sunset (Montevideo), Body Heat (Milán), Le Mellotron (Paris), Make Believe (NYC), Soho Grand (NYC), Alegria (NYC), Balt Sessions (Barcelona), ATV Records X (Miami), Boho (Miami), Sls (Miami), Eagle Room (Miami), Terras (Miami), The Trip (Miami), Funky House (San Salvador), Plus (Guatemala), Songbyrd (Washington DC), Eaton (Washington DC) and Bonaire (Buenos Aires).
His talents expand beyond DJing, playing guitar, bass and synthezisers both on and o  stage. Actively engaged in producing his own music, he has released 3 EPs under his name and partenered with Pabels and Way to form Bondi Bondi, releasing their debut single on Sloth Boogie. He has played a signi cant role in the production of other artists, such as his collaboration with Lee Wilson, “We Chase the Sun” which peaked at number 1 on Traxsource’s Nu Disco or his involvement with Dobao's debut album, "Dobaismo."
His music is a kaleidoscope of genres, which include house, early tech-house, disco, boogie and balearic sounds.
