Eili: I have been playing a lot of this XIV raid lately because I really wanted the healer top (which I did get). Being Drakengard’s number one stan, I was really surprised and excited to see it so heavily included in the final tier of the Dark Apocalypse raid. I heard this song and knew I wanted to sing it.  I had covered Kainé Salvation and Escape in the past, but I felt I could do better now.  I am glad I got the chance!

Nos: I am a huge fan of DoD/NieR/Final Fantasy music so once I heard this mashup I knew I had to work on it since Eili and I both love this song. I added a little bit of my own touch to the instrumental but I hope I did it justice for Keiichi Okabe, Emi Evans, Yoko Taro, and Soken!

I am really excited to finally sing a song off of this CD.  It is one of my favorite doujin works ever!  I do not think there is a song on this album that I dislike. The story is amazing and I love the addition of coined word and multiple choruses. The format of this album is one of my biggest inspirations when I think about LORE's songs forming a story. It would be really cool to work with Lily-san one day...though I think she is rather intimidating. 

I recorded a lot of tracks for this.  21 in fact. It sort of spans from the bottom of my range in some layers to my middle-high. I was really happy I could do it all myself.  I did the  best I could with the coined word pronunciation by ear.  Sometimes the pronunciation sounds like English in a way. If I knew the ethnic choir lyrics, I would have tried to overdub that too, but it is part of the instrumental.

Maybe I will sing other songs off this CD, but making guides takes a long time. I really love「Follend en Abgrund」「I'm Eszett」and 「Hist ex Machina」 So maybe in the future. Is that unpopular? I know most prefer the Expar'e Voices songs, which are lovely too!

Anyway, I tried to make the video similar to the long XFD.  This song isn't sung by a specific character...it is more like a narrator song about the setting (that is how I understand it...). I just wanted something nice for people to look at.

このCDの曲をようやく歌えることになり、とても興奮しています。 これまでで最も好きな同人作品のひとつです。 このアルバムの中で、嫌いな曲はないと思います。ストーリーも素晴らしく、造語や多重コーラスの追加も大好きです。このアルバムのフォーマットは、LOREの曲がストーリーを形成していると考えたときに、私が最もインスピレーションを受けたもののひとつです。いつかリリィさんと一緒に仕事ができたら、本当にクールだと思います......彼女はむしろ威圧的だと思いますが。

このためにたくさんのトラックを録音しました。 実際には21曲。私の音域の下限から中高域までをカバーしています。自分でやってみて本当に良かったと思いました。 造語の発音は、耳で聞いてできる限りのことをしました。 英語の発音のように聞こえることもあります。民族合唱団の歌詞を知っていれば、それもオーバーダビングしようとしたのですが、それはインストゥルメンタルの一部です。

このCDの他の曲も歌うかもしれませんが、ガイド作りには時間がかかります。私は「Follend en Abgrund」「I'm Eszett」「Hist ex Machina」が大好きです。だから、将来的にはそうなるかもしれません。それは不評ですか？多くの人が「Expar'e Voices」の曲を好むのは知っていますが、それも素敵ですよね。

とにかく、長いXFDと同じような映像にしてみました。 この曲は特定のキャラクターが歌っているわけではなく......どちらかというと設定についての語り部的な曲になっています（私はそう理解していますが......）。ただ、人に見てもらえるような素敵なものが欲しかったのです。

いずれにしても、これで私の話は終わりです。

As soon as this song came out, I had to sing it. It is so good!  Nos deceased for this instrumental (apparently youtube thinks its the original; good thing I dont monetize).  It was challenging and big thanks to everyone who gave feedback on it! 

I personally have been working on my expression when singing, and this song gave a good chance to swap around a lot. It also is in such a weird range for me, usually a place I hate, but I think it sounds nice.

Happy Halloween month! It has been a lot of work with M3,  so covers took a back seat.  I finally got the confidence to attempt this song.  I love Kikuo’s works and this one has been a long time favorite...I just never thought I could pull it off.  After singing a particular song on the new album I figured I would give this a shot. 
 
Also, I was...unaware that there is a version with Miku’s high harmonies in the instrumental...but then after we made guides and I did all the harmonies myself, I saw there was the version with Miku. LOL. I have no idea how I managed to get the non-Miku harms version… I like singing super high harmonies, so I don't mind.

This song was really catchy and almost seemed impossible to sing, so that meant I had to try.  I sang both the high and low octaves, and also overdubbed the backing chorus that's in the instrumental. Anything dark religion like is something I like, and since イチ song ユダの揺籠 is still too difficult for me to do well (sob), I went with this!

この曲はとてもキャッチーで、歌うのはほとんど不可能に思えたので、つまりはやってみるしかなかったのです。 オクターブの高音と低音の両方を歌い、インストゥルメンタルに入っているバックコーラスもオーバーダビングしています。ダークな宗教っぽいものは何でも好きで、イチさんの曲「ユダの揺籠」はまだ難しくてうまくできないので（号泣）、これにしました！。

So yeah...not much to say other than we felt like turning this into a slightly more cinematic feeling piece while still maintaining the atmosphere of the original.  So, vocally there are different/more harmonies as well as a completely different and massive adlib arrangement that pads most of the song.  

From Nos: I tried my best to maintain the ethereal feel of the song while matching the mood of the song and lyrics. I hope everyone likes the unique adlibs and the arrangement!

This is a really interesting song.  It really had the NieR vibes and is performed by one of the best ethnic vocalists out there.  I know I do not have the same tonality, so we put our own spin on it.  I really love the coined word verse and the ending adlibs.

Rolling through the backlog...another thing I recorded awhile ago but didn’t post. Now I am working a lot on M3 and collabs and LORE things,  so personal recording takes a bit of a backseat.
