After 20 year of composing and arranging music, Durban born, Sihle Zungu has finally succumbed to many requests to present his collective work in concert form.
On the 8 December at Howard College Theatre, UKZN, Sihle will be staging his first ever concert presenting a repertoire from his music and also music and hymns that he has arranged. The concert will be a real musical treat which will remind many Durbanites and also nationally of songs like Relationships, Brand New Day, Nginengom' Engiy'thandayo(Selokho Ngahlengwa) Arr., Christ is The Head, and UJes' Uyabuya, and many more.

Sihle has worked with an all girl vocal band in the late 90s called A Capella 6, Resemblance, Southern Cross, and Sextet. He has been involved in the production and music direction of gospel art collective, The J.A.M Life Show (Jesus Always Mine), the 1st Kaset (Durban), and Faith Sharers Reunion Seventh-day Adventist doctrinal music project which is yet to be published. These are just some of the projects that stand out over the years.
His music has been influenced by many artists, composers and genres over the years. His greatest musical influences are by God the creator of this music and life. He believes life is a journey and a journey has its smooth and rough travels. He had titled this musical offering “JOURNEYING ON” which is the title piece for the show.
