ਸੋਭਤ ਸਿਹਜਾਸਨ ਬਿਲਾਸਨ ਦੈ ਅੰਕਮਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸ ਬਿਸਮ ਹੈ੍ਵ ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਏ ਹੈਂ ॥
He looked pleased and honoured me by occupying my bedlike heart. I was lost in the love filled trance of Nam Amrit that merged me into a state of equipoise.

ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਨਿ ਅਖੀਆਂ ਉਘਰ ਗਈ ਭਈ ਜਲ ਮੀਨ ਗਤਿ ਬਿਰਹ ਜਗਾਏ ਹੈਂ ॥੨੦੫॥
Enjoying the bliss of divine dream, I was woken up by the voice of rain-bird and that broke my celestial dream. The awe and marvel of love-filled state disappeared reawakening the pangs of separation. I was restless like a fish out of water. (205)

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਘੜਿ ਟਕਸਾਲ ॥

ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ) ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਘੜਿਆ ਕਰ ।

ਤੁਮਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਏਕ ਜੀਹ ਕਿਆ ਕਥੈ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਲਾਲ ॥
tumare gun agam agochar ek jeeh kiaa kathai bichaaree raam raam raam raam laal ||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਲਾਲ! ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ, ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ, (ਜੀਵ ਦੀ) ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਜੀਭ (ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ 
Your Glorious Virtues are inaccessible and unfathomable; how can my one poor tongue describe them? O my Beloved Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam, Raam.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਜੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਹਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥
tumaree jee akath kathaa too too too hee jaaneh hau har jap bhiee nihaal nihaal nihaal ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ! ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ) ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ । ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ-ਚਿੱਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹਾਂ ।
O Dear Lord, You, You, You alone know Your Unspoken Speech. I have become enraptured, enraptured, enraptured, meditating on the Lord. ||1||

ਹਮਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਜੀਹ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਮਾਲ ॥
hamare har praan sakhaa suaamee har meetaa mere man tan jeeh har hare hare raam naam dhan maal ||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਧਨ ਹੈ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ 
The Lord, my Lord and Master, is my Companion and my Breath of Life; the Lord is my Best Friend. My mind, body and tongue are attuned to the Lord, Har, Haray, Haray. The Lord is my Wealth and Property.

ਜਾ ਕੋ ਭਾਗੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਲੀਓ ਰੀ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥

ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀ! ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—) ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੨।੧।੭।
She alone obtains her Husband Lord, who is so pre-destined. Through the Guru's Teachings, she sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord Har.  am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Lord, O servant Nanak. Meditating on the Lord, I have become enraptured.

ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! 
God, this is my heart's desire:

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਮੋਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕਾ ਚੇਰਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਇਹੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਹ ਜੁ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖੋ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
O treasure of kindness, O Merciful Lord, please make me the slave of your Saints. ||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰਾਤਹਕਾਲ ਲਾਗਉ ਜਨ ਚਰਨੀ ਨਿਸ ਬਾਸੁਰ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਵਉ ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਵੇਰੇ (ਉੱਠ ਕੇ) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗਾਂ, ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ । 
In the early hours of the morning, I fall at the feet of Your humble servants; night and day, I obtain the Blessed Vision of their Darshan.

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਕਰਉ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਉ ॥੧॥
ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਭੇਟਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਹਰੀ-ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ।੧।
Dedicating my body and mind, I serve the humble servant of the Lord; with my tongue, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਿਮਰਉ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਨਿਤ ਰਹੀਐ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਦਾ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।
With each and every breath, I meditate in remembrance on my God; I live continually in the Society of the Saints.

ਏਕੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਨੁ ਮੋਰਾ ਅਨਦੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹੁ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੨॥੨੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ-ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ । (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਆਨੰਦ (ਸਦਾ) ਮਾਣਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।੨।੨੬।
