Wazir Khan along with another courtier reach Amritsar with the invitation to come to Delhi. A messenger passed the message of their arrival to Guru Ji. Guru Ji told them to see him tomorrow. Following which, food ration for the men and horses was sent by Guru Ji told the encampment of Wazir Khan. All of the necessities were given. Wazir Khan and others who had come with him were all singing the praises of Guru Ji. 
The next day, Wazir Khan bathed in the Amrit Sarovar during the Amritvela and prostrated within the Harmandir Sahib. In the evening around 3pm, Guru Ji comes to the Akaal Takht Sahib and has the audience with Wazir Khan. Wazir presented Guru Ji with many gifts. Wazir Khan humbly invited Guru Ji to Delhi but Guru Ji immediately asks if this invitation similar to the one sent for Guru Arjan Dev Ji? Wazir replies that this time Guru Ji will have the opportunity to take revenge on Chandu for his misdeeds. 
Guru Ji was 11 years old at this time. An internal meeting was held between Mata Gangga Ji and other important Sikhs on Jahangir’s invitation. Masands opposed the invitation and to avoid all conflict by running to Malva. Bhai Jetha, Bhai Pirana and Bhai Biddhi Chand were confident even if the Mughal army attacks, the Sikhs will fight even if they had to go Malva. Mata Gangga Ji was hesitant as she had lost her husband and can’t afford to loose her son and leave Amritsar Sahib.

Listening to Mata Gangga Ji, Baba Buddha Ji spoke that Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji is all-knower and it is Guru Ji’s first promise to the Sikhs to punish Chandu. There is no one as powerful as Guru Ji. Guru Ji who is seated in the meeting, says nothing all these while and just smiled. After Baba Buddha Ji ended his views, Guru Ji says that whatever Baba Buddha Ji has said will happen just like a line engraved onto a stone. Bhai Gurdas Ji who was also seated there spoke that Baba Buddha Ji has served 6 Gurus and no one is as wise as them. Bhai Gurdas Ji too agrees with Baba Buddha Ji that Guru Ji should go to Delhi. The meeting was adjourned. 
The next day, Guru Ji called Wazir Khan to the Akaal Takht. Wazir Khan and Kinch Beg arrived with folded hands. Guru Ji agrees to the invitation. 
Wazir Khan was extremely pleased and he recalled the incident that Guru Ji had cured his painful Oedema (Jalodhar). He was suffering from the pains of the disease when he heard Sukhmani Sahib which immediately cured his pain but when the Sikh’s voice could not be heard, he started having the pains. But when the Sikh came back again, my pains were resolved. Wazir Khan called the Sikh to his house and inquired on what was he uttering that resolved his pains. The Sikh replied, Sukhmani Sahib. From that day onwards, I had employed Sikhs in my house to always recite Sukhmani Sahib. Within few days, Wazir Khan was completely cured. Following which, I visited Guru Arjan Dev Ji who had cured my incurable disease and became his Sikh. From that day till today, I am the Sikh of the Guru.
