ਸੋ ਦਿਨੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਗਣਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
That day is judged to be fruitful, when I merged with my Lord.

ਸਭਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਰਗਟਿਆ ਦੁਖ ਦੂਰਿ ਪਰਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Total happiness was revealed, and pain was taken far away.

ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਗੁਨ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਨਿਤ ਗਾਈਐ ॥
Peace, tranquility, joy and eternal happiness come from constantly singing the Glorious Praises of the Sustainer of the World.

ਭਜੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਰੰਗੇ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਧਾਈਐ ॥
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I lovingly remember the Lord; I shall not wander again in reincarnation.

ਗਹਿ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਕੁਰੁ ਆਇਆ ॥
He has naturally hugged me close in His Loving Embrace, and the seed of my primal destiny has sprouted.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਕਤਹੂ ਨ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੫॥੪॥੭॥
Prays Nanak, He Himself has met me, and He shall never again leave me. ||5||4||7||

Waheguru is the Gurmanter which has been passed down by the Guru to the Sikhs. it is in reference to the Creator. Waheguru translates to "Wonderful Lord".

When chanted with concentration and love, the Manter will bring realisation of the Divine Light within. Through meditation on the Gurmanter our Atma (Soul) can lead to union with the supreme light, Parmatma (Waheguru). Our Atma is like the wave which originates from the ocean, the Ocean being parmatma. Our goal in life is to merge back, however many of us of us are distracted from our true purpose and are wasting this precious Human Life form.

Meditation can have considerable benefits on our lives, it feeds our Soul with peace and inner purity, similarly we feed our bodies with nutrients from food. Without mediation we feel like an 'empty vessel'. Western society heavily neglects meditation, which explains the rising number of People suffering from depression.

We still have time to fill our bank balance with Naam and Bani, this will bring us true peace and happiness. Guru Ji tells by "Remembering Him in meditation, a profound peace is obtained. Pain and suffering will not touch you at all." (Ang44)
