The young and talented producer has come into his element recently, gaining solid support from diggers and tastemakers alike. His CPSL004 EP includes three originals, and an innovative remix from Berlin-based, DeWalta. Classy and sophisticated minimal movements from a rising star, and a revered remixer. Premiere: B2.  Macarie - She Man Down (Vlad Arapasu Remix) [ALTH005]

Hi guys. 
Over the past 3 months I've been able to work in the studio and create new ep. 
I will share with you the technical points that arise on the way to pure creativity and the ability to create music.
The infrastructure of our country is very damaged by the daily rocket attacks, there is no electricity on average 8-10 hours a day, the Internet does not always work because of the weak batteries that power the towers. So we have to work in Spartan conditions. 

For a general understanding of the creation of the track is more of a freeride, descents and ascents. It is impossible to plan or allocate a certain number of hours that it will take to find an idea and bring it to life. Sometimes such a descent can be very fast and abrupt, and literally in half a day you can form the basic idea and shape it into a more or less decent sound.
But with a steady power outage, the whole meditative form and state of immersion is completely absent. You just start swinging as the lights go out and all the vibration is gone.
There is a huge benefit to this - it is the ultimate concentration and optimization of all processes. In a way, it's a great skill! But creativity doesn't tolerate haste, it requires deep immersion, lightness and freedom in action.
So we have 4 hours to rush into production and create as much as possible. But after that comes 4 hours of total silence and inability to do anything. 
Nothing lasts forever, and one day it will end, or at least take on a new form. 
I decided to write this message to myself and read it in the near future to remember what I've learned in the intervening period of time and what point in my life's journey I've arrived at.
In the meantime, I present to you a new EP entitled "Holotype".
Holotype - is a single physical example of an organism, known to have been used when the species was formally described. It is either the single such physical example or one of several examples, but explicitly designated as the holotype.

Meet Vern, a talented DJ from Constanta, Romania, whose passion for electronic music was sparked by the hypnotic sound of live techno and trance sets. Although he had little connection to electronic music growing up, he quickly became fascinated by the energy and audiences at events like Kudos and Kristal Mamaia; events which helped turn him towards a path in electronic music. 

After experimenting with different genres, he settled on techno and tech-house, and began producing music that caught the attention of labels and audiences alike. With a focus on improving his sound and learning more technical skills, he continues to evolve as an artist, drawing inspiration from his favourite artists like Sublee, Sepp, and Nu Zau.

The lake might be freezing in this cold winter, but the carp go with the icy flow bringing some hot material on KOI003 that comes from Ukrainian rising talent Peshka. Oriental EP sees the young Ukrainian producer go full-on-force with two captivating originals that meander between twisted drum arrangements and hefty basslines, leaving the necessary space for intriguing and melodic sounds to rise freely. On the remix duties, the label welcomes Romanian spearhead Arapu who delivers a massive "hands-up heads-down" reinterpretation of "Orient", turning the original into a basement destroyer.

In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romania’s Tzinah Records, Moscow’s Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016.

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12” releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germany’s almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno’s rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.
