Silena Murrell is an American singer-songwriter and artist formerly with Universal - signed by Doug Morris.  She wrote her debut single “Bring It Home”  with Scott Storch and Greg Curtis which reached #34 on Billboard Adult Contempory chart on Oct 14, 2006.  ‘Bring It Home’ ( a.k.a. Body Rock) was also covered by Beyoncé. 

Silena Murrell  is the female vocalist on the Dream's hit single, "Shawty is a 10" and vocalist on Aaliyah's "Journey to the Past" Anastasia movie soundtrack, and background vocals on Tamia's "Imagination" remix produced by Rory Bennett

Ms. Murrell produced and released her debut album “Phoenix” in 2014.

Silena wrote "Never Say Goodbye” for The Braxtons with H.O.P.  Productions,  and 
 "Willing and Waiting" for Joya with Vincent Herbert, Joya and Steve Wade

Ms. Murrell co-starred with Fantasia Barrino, Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert in the musical “Soul Kittens Cabaret” which premiered on BET. 
. 
Silena  was an original founding member of Brownstone with Nicci Gilbert, Charmayne Maxee Maxwell, and Monica Mimi Dolby.   

She  co-founded the group  Sway with producer Emanuel Officer and members KeKe Wyatt, Nayo and Erica. 

And was an Angel member with former Destiny's Child members Latoya Luckett and Latavia Roberson.
