After Monolithes, their first EP entirely improvised on analog devices, Quid has renewed its
tools and changed scale. With Mégalithes, Paul and Juliette no longer seek only to reach the
temporality of the mineral world: they zoom in on their own sound materials and stretch them
until unexpected reliefs appear. Between drone, ambient, and vapor wave, their music
unfolds like a landscape in slow motion. The sounds deepen, refract, and overlap, revealing a
crystalline tranquility, similar to the resonance of the sea at the bottom of a shell.

3 ans après son premier coup d’essai, le collectif lyonnais Silence Collapse revient avec une nouvelle compilation regroupant certain.e.s des producteurices les plus percutant.e.s du paysage francophone. 

Faisant honneur à la philosophie originelle du collectif, VA II mélange les styles et les énergies en regroupant 11 morceaux aux reliefs variés. De la Dubstep a l’IDM en passant par la Club Music, la compilation propose une richesse sonore  qui représente au mieux l’éclectisme musical défendu par Silence Collapse. 

VA II sera disponible le 24 Janvier sur Bandcamp et toutes les plateformes de streaming. La totalité des ventes sera reversée à l’association Lyonnaise 
«Tous à la musique».

3 years after their debut, Lyon-based collective Silence Collapse are back with a new compilation featuring some of the finest producers on the French music scene. 

In keeping with the collective's original philosophy, ‘VA II’ mixes styles and energies, bringing together 11 tracks of varying shades. From Dubstep to IDM, the compilation offers a wealth of sound that best represents the musical eclecticism defended by Silence Collapse. 

VA II will be available on 24 January on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. All sales will be donated to the Lyon-based charity "Tous à la musique".
