With this remix we wanted to stay close to the original mix and at the same time create a stripped down version to be played early in a DJ set. So we robbed the original from some of its energy and reworked the bass line and vocals. To emphasize a more relaxed vibe, we added a dubby feel to the organ. Whilst a metallic sounding echo cuts through the mix, a dry kick and some ringing percussion invite you to tap your feet. Once we had this going we packed the lot in an arrangement that slowly increases in energy and finished it off with a mix-friendly ending and beginning.

Silence Rising is the collaborative effort between Pim Verhaagen and Peter Berger.
