This record was a mysterious private invitation for a party at the parisian club "Le Club Saint Hilaire" in the seventies.

In 1978, the band Crass show their disapproval of the “blasphemous” character of the The Feeding of the Five Thousand’s first track, ” Asylum ”, that violently attacks religion, the workers at the record press went on strike and refused to press the album. Crass caved and replaced the song by one minute of silence, which they baptized, ” The Sound of Free Speech ”. The “ censured ” (sic) song was returned to its rightful place in future editions of the album.

“The Haunting Melody” a play by Mathieu Bauer, was accompanied by Silent Entertainment. A 1 hour and 50 minute silence was delivered during the play. It took place in Montreuil (France) at the "Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil". January 24, 2015.
