Well, here's something different.

This is something I've always wanted to make but was never satisfied with my previous attempts at it as I wasn't all that good at music making the last times I've tried and have learned a lot since then; a theme for my main Thomas OC, Benjamin. ^^ (Yeah, he's named after me. Sorta a product of the older "trainsona" days but has pretty much mostly evolved beyond that over the years while still retaining the name.) For those who've been around this account long enough, you may remember some of the older uploads of my attempts at a theme for him lol Been working on and off this thing for a long time now, frequently adjusting things in it as I continued to improve my music over the last year. However, I finally got around to finishing it yesterday and I'm honestly extremely pleased with how it all turned out. I should also mention that the overall theme is heavily based on the motif a childhood film's soundtrack that I love very much and always wanted to incorporate into his theme, even back during the first few attempts, with the exception of some parts. Particularly the second half of the middle section, which I threw together to fill a gap. So, I guess you could say it's partially an original theme lol. Oh well, quite a few other themes in Thomas fall into the same category and regardless, I'm still very happy with it. Hope you all enjoy and have a great summer too! :)

Hi guys! Man, it's been AGES since my last composition. But here's another instrumental I've done for you. It's the S5 Sir Topham Hatt Song. I don't think I've seen a recreation of it using the usual Proteus Instruments. So I thought I'd give it a try. I even used the original song as a reference. The result is perfect, much better than Blake Filippi's version!

Silent Sinner in Scarlet, abbr. SilSinn in the 🎮 community, started writing ♪ after hours of playing old PC/​video 🎮 (feat. 🎼 generated by soundchips from 1980’s–early 1990’s). Found favor with Yamaha YM2608/​OPNA FM-synth chip (found in high-end NEC PC-9801 & -9821 💻 that once dominated the 🇯🇵 domestic market) because of the relative ease of composing/​arranging ♪ for it and for its ability to mix FM/​PSG/​PCM 🔊 paradigms in a well-balanced fashion. Chose PMD98 by KAJA as the preferred compiler for making OPNA ♪ evocative of both “PC-98”, arcade, & Sega MegaDrive/​Genesis systems. For inspiration, thankee to legendary composers ZUN, 高井達雄, & 植松伸夫 as role models to follow.
