We are beyond thrilled to have Fade for our next guest mix @symposiumrecords ! I have been following Fade and the Of Paradise label for quite some time. Both have been a big influence on what I play in my sets and curate for Symposium Records.  

This newest mix gives us an ambient, sludgy, downtempo vibe. Perfect to take time to chill a bit in our hectic lives!

For those that don't know -  Fade is a DJ, producer and Of Paradise Co-Founder.  She has been making a name for herself in the electronic music scene with trademark bass-heavy sounds in both her productions and DJ sets. Blending intense rhythms with emotive melodies, her hard-hitting style has marked her out as an artist playing by her own rules. Fade hosts regular radio shows on Movement Radio and dublab,and has previously been on the air with prominent stations Rinse FM, NTS, The Lot Radio, Reprezent and Operator Radio, as well as providing mixes for the likes of Fold, Bubble Bath, Hypnotic Groove and Bicep. Having previously released music on her own imprint, Fade is currently working on her debut EP which is due out later this year, as well as working with artists on forthcoming releases for Of Paradise and sister label Badlands.

Hailing from Bristol and currently based in Berlin, Low End Activist is a master in cold cuts of mutant grime and dubby UK rave pressure. Not only are his recent releases 'Gossip Is The Devil's Radio EP' on LA's ESP Institute and his remix for Pushlock's 'Purple Leaf' a must-have – these are also prime examples that showcases the capability of the producer. 

In this instalment for the Rhythmic Culture Podcast, LEA's mix is marked by tough energy excellent selections spanning multiple genres. It's yours now to put on repeat.

Broadcasted live and direct from Netil Radio in East London, this all vinyl DJ set features records that are available to order online or buy and collect from Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham, London.

Machine Cult — the Amsterdam-based electronic platform run by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe — returns with the Edition Four release party at OT301 on 7 November.

The new V.A. compilation features tracks from Garçon Taupe, Bertram, 2:29, Beau Wanzer, Déandrah, and Masha Wordpress. At the launch, all contributing artists will play DJ sets, with Déandrah providing live visuals throughout the night.

Expect an evening of potent electronics and immersive visuals, celebrating the forefront of the underground.

Every motion leaves an echo.
A delay so small it feels like memory,
folding back into what made it.

Some parts of us cancel out — out of phase, out of step —

The track opens at 87 BPM, with ambient sounds and reverberating vocals creating a sense of suspense and anticipation, followed by a deep, enveloping Reese bass. The tempo changes to 140 BPM and a breakbeat drumbeat urges on, pushing the energy towards new dynamics. The song thus becomes an emotional journey between tension and moments of ecstasy.

This VA brings together electronic artists from around the world, united in solidarity with the people of Gaza. In the face of silence and inaction from our governments, we believe it’s our responsibility, as artists and human beings, to contribute however we can.

SawtPalestine is an independent association founded by Ahmed Jome, a Palestinian based in Marseille, with the mission of building a bridge between Gaza and the World. Their work focuses on supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, especially those with no contact or aid from the outside.
On the ground, a local team operates daily to provide direct financial, emotional, and recreational support to children and families in need. Long-term, SawtPalestine aims to build an orphanage.

Since its creation, the association has also launched a traveling Palestinian kitchen, collaborated with activist networks and artists from different fields, and organized events to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
