Silent G - Nocturnal Agitation EP [Mitsubasa]

Recorded at the United 4 UA fundraiser at AL.Berlin, 13.03.2022. Broadcasted live on THF Radio.

United 4 UA was a fundraising event organized by Szlag Collective, Capsule Berlin, BLVSH and a broad variety of artists in order to raise funds for BIPoC and queer people fleeing from or affected by the war in the Ukraine. The event took place on March 13th 2022 at AL.Berlin. Overall, more than 2.500 € in donations were generated.

I had the honor of playing a 3 hour set at Sisyphos' infamous Hammahalle for their New Year's Eve party - here's the recording.

I went from funky Hardgroove via driving tribal Techno to rather ravey tracks towards the end.

I was so happy and truly touched to see that the crowd felt my sound and it was tons and tons of fun being on that sonic journey with you all. 

At the very end of the recording you'll hear some impressions from inside the club - including emotional me saying "thank you" with huge tears of joy in my eyes. 

I couldn't have dreamt of a better way to start 2024. Thank you all so much, this magic moment will stay with me forever.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ SILENT G

Over the past years, Silent G has managed to establish himself in Berlin’s electronic music scene. As a DJ, he is a regular behind some of the city’s most renowned decks. And with gigs in Vienna and Mongolia, his music has also taken him abroad.
In the booth, his main goal is to find the right connection to the dance floor. Depending on the vibe, his sets range from dubby Techno to old school Tribal cuts, funky Hardgroove or driving Techno tools. But he also feels comfortable in more break-heavy spheres, such as Drum’n’Bass and Jungle.
Besides DJing, his activities in the local scene include running the event series ZEMENT, and curating the Drum’n’Bass and Jungle night STALACTITES at Paloma. Silent G is also part of the Interphase crew, hosting notorious genre-bending off-location parties.
As a producer, he has track releases on the Irish label Space Records and on Nonchalance Music. Another one is scheduled for January 2025 on the Toronto-based imprint Oneiros Records.

Having his musical roots in punk rock, Silent G is on a constant quest to deliver raw energy to the dance floor. As you can hear in his guest mixes and club sets, his sound is fast and rough, yet tongue-in-cheek. The ZEMENT founder, INTERPHASE member and curator of STALACTITES focuses mainly on driving techno and hardgroove. But he also feels comfortable in more break-heavy spheres such as drum’n’bass and jungle.

Lisbon based DJ and producer FRESKO combines classical with modern elements, ranging from house to techno - all garnished with a psychedelic and experimental twist. His latest works have been released on Hayes Collective and Planet Rhythm and he is a regular behind Portugal's most renowned decks.

Melbourne-based Art Fact returns with a full e.p. release, Kimura, after his contribution to Solid VA last year. The release includes remixes from  Silent G and Kaltblume.

The e.p. weaves through different shades of deeper techno sounds, showcasing Arta Fact's trademark sound and its development. Starting with the minimal sounds and seductive vocals of Authentic Stimulation. Silent G adds depth to his remix by layering epic, synth stabs over a warm, rolling bassline. Kimura and Bone Collector are prime peak-time cuts, both making use of bleepy sounds and spliced vocals to deliver a powerful, hypnotic, and playful experience on the dance floor. Pax Romana relies on clever drum programming and a sweeping vocal that evokes late-night and early morning vibes. Kaltblume retains the vocal as the central piece and builds a lot of movement and rhythm around it, especially with those dynamic lows.
