Anyway, have some more metal. Like Paradise, this was one of those songs that would sound really freaking awesome if someone else sang it - but sounds (in my opinion) terrible when I sing it. After about a month of plotting to kidnap the singer from Grand Magus (check them out, they're amazing), I decided it'd be better to release the darn song the way it is. Because I love the riffs and I love the solo and - most importantly - I love you guys (also, not being arrested for kidnapping singers)

And here we are! Yet another remake of an old song - I've got a few more of these on the way, but I think you'll enjoy them as much as I do.

This song in particular was the one that started Silent Night - my New Year's resolution was to get a song on EqD, and I hammered this one out early on in January just to put something on YouTube. I'm surprised it held up the way it did, considering the little amount of time and care I put in (especially the vocals, dear lord the vocals!), so I'm excited to put this more polished version out this week.

I'm back! ...with yet another re-recording (though it seemed to be everyone's favorite rock song on my channel!).

At the moment, this is the last full song I've got recorded and it might be a while before I get new material out. I'm thinking of doing one of the following in the downtime:
- Posting demos and/or re-hashed old material
- Video tutorials for playing my songs
- Fanfic readings

I swear I was gonna do another laid-out mellow piece for this round. I just happened to pick up the new Blood Stain Child album halfway through production and turned out this mess instead.

The other side of the "End of the Line" story: I imagined a Celestia haunted by loneliness and regret - she can't come to terms with Luna's transformation and banishment, so she reaches out to this imaginary Luna; a sweet, innocent, and forgiving Luna who helps her cope and sleep through the night.

This one's been a long time in the making - my band (well, former band at this point), NeighSlayer, wrote this and played it during the Summer Bronycon last year. We planned to record it sometime after that, but we never got around to it and the band kinda just died out. Later on, Lolicide and I formed a new (non-pony) band called Scarlet Soundtrack and while we were working on an album together I got the idea to re-record this song. So here it is, almost a year after its conception (a year and a half if you count all of the earlier versions we played live!)
