  In honor of the Birth of Joshua "Moondoog" Sonya I'm posting this track again for all to catch a glimpse of this young mans genius.  For those who don't know the man, this was the kid that dressed as one of the robbers from dead presidents at the age of 8, rode a pink huffkatron, ate tons of skittles and spit popcorn all over me the first time i met him.

 MoonDogg was just 10 years old when this was recorded in 1998.  He wandered in our practice space was handed a mic and headphones and freestyled all the vocals on these tracks.  Topical themes covered here include reeling against the man, local authorities, a neighborhood hard ass and an ode to medicinal botanics.  


In closing Moondogg would make Emerson or Socrates seem shallow, your grandmother a bad listener and devoid of sage advice and Tom Hanks a thoughtless if not witless jerk.
