Eric and John had worked on a project together in the past and stayed in touch threw the years. After Eric's previous band Calm To Chaos split in Feb. of 09 he was unsure what to do about his music career. Having played in the band for six years and after so many highlights it was hard to think about moving on. Finally he decided to make something happen. Eric contacted John and when the two talked decided that a project was definitely in the works for the two of them. The band then recorded an EP that was self-titled in 2010 with then bassist Jeff Hopkins and Drummer Paul Bordeau. After a short run together the band split when two of the members decided to leave for undisclosed reasons. Fast forward to 2015 now after a few years off. Eric had started writing new material but was unsure what it was for. After a few weeks of writing he decided he needed to contact his old friend John. After a few conversations and a demo or two passed between them it was decided that the project still had life. Not long after Eric reached out to long time friend Brian to see if he would sign on as the new bassist. After discussing the project and it's plans for the future he was ready to jump in. They now plan to write a new album and plan a tour to promote it in the coming year. Now only time will tell what will come of this project but if the past says anything the music will be heavy, in your face, and full of great melodic hooks. Here's to a great 2016.
