Vital Groove is the stage name of Guilherme Vidinha, a 20-year-old DJ and producer from Viana do Castelo, Portugal, who is quickly establishing himself as a rising force in the new wave of European techno. Despite being at the early stages of his career, he has already earned attention for his strong personality, infectious energy, and a sound that blends originality with precision behind the decks.

With a clear ambition to expand his reach, Vital Groove is now focused on making his mark within the broader European techno scene. His vision is grounded in creativity, rhythmic exploration, and a powerful emotional connection with the crowd, qualities that continue to define his evolution as an artist.

His connection to music is undeniable, groove runs through his veins, and it’s evident in every one of his performances. In 2024, he took a major step forward by enrolling at the IGMA Institute, where he deepened his training as both a DJ and a producer. This period of study allowed him to refine his technical skills and artistic vision, solidifying his commitment to electronic music as a lifelong path.

Vital Groove’s style draws from a wide spectrum of techno, with a core focus on Hardgroove, while also exploring darker, tribal, and Schranz-inspired territories. His productions and sets are characterized by the fusion of powerful basslines, immersive percussion, and an eclectic mix of vocal influences from Rap and Hip Hop to Soul and Funky samples. This hybrid approach results in a signature sound that moves fluidly between intense, body-moving rhythms and smoother, groove-driven moments.

Throughout his journey, he has already shared the stage with respected international names such as Future.666, Per Pleks, Mario Malke, Lukas, Viper XXL, and Candy Cox, as well as notable figures from the Iberian scene including Cesar Almena, Gonçalo M., and Raúl Pacheco. These appearances have furthered his presence in both northern Portugal and Spain, helping him build a solid reputation across the regional underground circuit.
