Miami bad-boy Jesse Perez returns to the I’m A House Gangster stable bringing with him a box of dynamite cuts to annihilate the clubs this season!

‘This Ain’t No Rave EP’ comes armed with 3 Bass charged bullets; the title track is a straight up slab of Bass House, backed with pressure beats, toying with a Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock classic ‘It Takes Two’ sample to effect. 
‘Too Many DJs, Not Enough Hoes’ is a sassy Hip-House tinged groover, which tips it’s hat to the old skool, and is a prime example of Jesse’s cut up sample wizardry. 
Finishing off the package is the incessant groove of ‘Learn How To Spin’ -  lyrically giving a small dig to the laptop autopilot DJ generation, this bomb builds with Latin tinged percussive beats that give way to a bouncing bass lick.

“These are dandelion tracks. All 3 tracks are in my ‘If the crowd isn't dancing’ folder” - Jesse Perez  Legend tells it that Jesse Perez was born in a rundown motel in Little Havana (a small Latin neighbourhood in Miami) just minutes after being conceived. Son to a local pimp (who is oddly 10 years older than Jesse), Jesse was exposed to the art of Slangin' D as a young boy. His mother, who at that time was a stage dancer for a popular local rap group called the "2 Live Crew", would work many shows for these artists and would sneak Jesse in as often as she could. 

Jesse has been producing and remixing since 2005 and has released on Hot Creations, Off Recordings, Exploited and his own label Mr Nice Guy Recordings, among others. He has remixed the likes of Nick Monaco, Ellen Allien, Pleasurekraft and many more. Jesse made his debut on I’m A House Gangster in 2014 with his ‘That’s Real Muthafuckin Talk’ EP featuring remixes from Paolo Rocco & Jay and label boss DJ Sneak.

Talented producer and versatile DJ, Emery Warman, has become a VIVa favourite in recent years following the notable 2016 release of Heavy Duty Dolls EP on the LIMITED label. We are, therefore, thrilled to announce Warman’s first VIVa MUSiC release with this 3-piece in Godzilla EP.

Since his musical pilgrimage from Hungary to London, Emery Warman has quickly found his feet within the house and techno scene. Immediate success after his debut release ‘Get Funk’ in 2014, and two Beatport Genre Chart Top 10s ensued plus residencies in the capital and Ibiza.

Early support took Warman by surprise as the likes of Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati and Paco Osuna quickly appreciated his refreshing take on tech house. Carola and Capriati regularly dropped Warman’s tracks at Music On events, highlighting the Hungarian’s production quality and riveting potential.

The endorsement and support of Stefano Noferini has been central to Warman’s productive development and many of the Hungarian’s best tracks can be found on the former’s Deeperfect record labels. Other notable labels accommodating Warman’s EPs comprise, Laspus Music, Natural Rhythm, The Room and D Floor including his own imprint, Noexcuse Music.

Having heard Loco Dice playing one of their 2016 remixes, Leftwing & Kody sent the Desolat boss some new tracks. After he hammered them all summer, he tapped up the hot UK duo for a full EP that was many months in the making, but now here it is...
Chris Aidy and Jon Kong have established themselves as scene leaders with big releases on Relief Records, Suara, Moon Harbour and Truesoul. They always serve up the sort of characterful tech house sounds that make them firm favourites with festival and Ibiza crowds alike, and on their Desolat debut they offer some huge tunes
that were written on various bits of hardware in Chris’s north London studio.
“Our formula for this was grooving toms and low end weight, then we built upwards
from that foundation,” say the pair of their inspiration for this EP, and that’s immediately
apparent on ‘Snap Back’. It’s a raving tech house tune with choppy drums and edgy
percussion that builds to a frenetic peak before flattening out and grooving along
infectiously.
‘The Hills’ is another masterfully chunky track with raw percussive energy and
barrelling kick drums that never let up. Vocal stabs add to the intensity and it’s a full on
tribal affair. Lastly, ‘Want It’ feat. Avon Shay is a steamy and teasing number that builds
through a number of phases before exploding into life with zippy synths and full flavour
percussion that will sweep the floor away in an instant.
This is a powerful EP of club dynamite from one of the most popular duos in the scene.
