L'Equipe du Son,  the head honcho of Silhouette Music, is back with a promising new release after a long hiatus. His previous hit, "Lesson 1", is on track to reach 10 million plays on Spotify this year. Le French Kiss is the new alias of Silhouette Music’s label boss L’Equipe Du Son and an outlet for his more mainstream Nu-disco styled tracks. ‘Say You Need Me’ is the first ep under the Le French Kiss moniker and consists of 2 originals and an Instrumental mix of the title track.

’Say You Need Me’ has a Deep House basis but is topped with warm disco elements, sparkling riffs and catchy vocals. And if that is not enough it climaxes to an acid loaded 303 bassline making it an allround banger. Great for dance floors or warm summer drives along the coastline of the French Riviera.

The second track ‘Pop Like This’ evolves around a hypnotic jazz hook with deep and dubby drums.
And all in all this track is also quite nice for summer drives along the coastline of the French Riviera but pretty much every other part of the world too.

Ultrasonic Love Waves. Previously where the first two singles Familiar Stranger and Night Drive were more laid back, The Planet Destoyer takes things up a notch!

The Planet Destroyer is a beautifully crafted, disco-noir gem with an orchestral intro that reminds us of those early 70’s sci-fi movies. Refreshing and unique.  

The release comes fully loaded with remixes form Machinegewehr, best known for his dark disco releases on Bordello A Parigi (Carradine for example), Doctr who released an epic triptych on Silhouette Music with chart topper ‘The Battle for the Inhabited Planets of the Universe’ and from the man that needs no introduction; Martin Dubka. 
Dubka and L’Equipe du Son have a history together, Dubka previously remixed L’Equipe’s “Slow Notion” and also featured on “In The Studio With” from Future Music Magazine.
Even a dj-friendly club mix of the original is included in the package.

Aux might be the disco dictator but in Juno On The Floor he slides the electro right out of the boogie. Yes people, that’s what you do when it’s 1983, you toprock, downrock and freeze to the beats of the 707, the bass of the Juno 60 and the lyrics of Mr Zee, Power Move and BAM! You own it!

Foreign Boy is a lover of all things Italo and Hi Nrg, producing and
releasing modern italo hits with vintage feelings. Foreign Boy first got
noticed with his release of his modern italo classic “Dance Like A Light”
a perfect example of his focus on driving disco beats, arpeggiated bass lines,
funky riffs and unforgettable vocal hooks, and Touch Me is no different!

Touch Me was born from a Italo Disco weekend in Amsterdam.
Driving round the city with a choice Italo soundtrack was the spark that
sent Foreign Boy into the studio full of inspiration.
Touch Me features vocals from Foreign Boy himself, with his roots as a punk rocker he dazzles the track with a pure punk avant-garde vocal hook to complement the Italo backdrop.  

Remixes come from Aux the Masterfader, Nude Disco and L’Equipe du Son

Aux the Masterfader his remix was heavily influenced by Prince & chicago house. Known for his love for analog gear the Synthmeister used his beloved LinnDrum, Juno 60, Polysix, Oberheim Matrix 6 and Roland SH-2 for this remix.
The result; driving disco beats, rolling bass lines and warm synthesizers.

Nude Disco produces synth pop tinged with 80’s disco with european influences.
“This remix was a pleasure to do for my good friend Foreign Boy who has also been a resident at my Nude Disco club nights and a mainstay on the Nude Disco label. My mix was the last piece of work I did in my now defunct London studio and contained all the elements I love. Machine drum hits, FM Bass and Trevor Horn inspired brass stabs.” That's some straight up disco love from one bro to another! <3

After hearing the ep for the first time Silhouette’s head honcho L’Equipe du Son was so inspired he made a remix himself and the result is a funk driven track, build on the classic ‘707 drums - Moog baseline combo’. #classicshit

Amigos y Amigas, the Doctr is in! 

Doctr is probable best known for his Italo flavoured releases on labels such as Bordello a Parigi, Music For Dreams and your beloved Silhouette Music. 
But you might also know him from his DJ gigs (check his Soundcloud for recorded sets!), recent ones being Garcon Sauvage (FR) and Electropicales Festival (Reunion Island).

It was during these DJ gigs Doctr realised he felt the need for some more high NRG tracks and right after his set at Electropicales Festival he had what is best described as a vision, a epiphany. A clear path was laid out before him and Doctr locked himself in his studio. 
After a week or so, neighbors started complaining about the smell but something special had been cooking. 
The result is Planet Rave, a masterfully crafted ep from obviously terrific fruit. A significantly complex mix of High NRG disco and early 90s house.

Dark and deep, with lots of interesting little aromatic nuances leading the way, it offers admirably layered flavours of bouncy grooves, trippy arps, analogue-richness in the lower end and lush FM chords that are all exceptionally well integrated.

Don't short change yourself by believing you are anything less than worthy of this magnificent, unique, one-of-a-kind ep and grab it on our download page.
