SIL102 Audioglider & Essco - 8bit Traum

Italian Stallion, born in Wales now exiled to South London, Audioglider and London boy (yes, some say the one Taylor Swift sings about) Essco first met at a Progressive Astronaut boat party in October 2019 and again at the same events at ADE that same year. The Brits hit it off and back in the UK they plotted to collaborate in some way. 

Fast forward a few months, and with Covid stopping most things, they started to swap ideas almost daily at one point until they got two tracks out of their collective efforts. 

8 Bit Traum was a track that had already been started by Essco but had been unfinished. All the parts were fantastic and right up Audioglider’s street and with their shared love of Synthwave and 80s sounds, and their collective collaborative consciousness, 8-Bit Traum was born. 

We Will Dance Again is Audioglider’s brainchild but fits very well with the glossy 80s vibe - an open love letter to the party, longing for the world to open up again, for us to move and dance together.

After three years of absence Polar Sun is finally back with an absolute banger of an ep! Containing a whopping 5 tracks all originals! So plenty to get excited about!!

Polar Sun - Breathe EP

L'Equipe du Son,  the head honcho of Silhouette Music, is back with a promising new release after a long hiatus. His previous hit, "Lesson 1", is on track to reach 10 million plays on Spotify this year. Now, he's ready to captivate audiences once again with the "Die Liebe EP", shifting from French to German — because as we all know, German is also a language of love.

Le French Kiss is the new alias of Silhouette Music’s label boss L’Equipe Du Son and an outlet for his more mainstream Nu-disco styled tracks. ‘Say You Need Me’ is the first ep under the Le French Kiss moniker and consists of 2 originals and an Instrumental mix of the title track.

’Say You Need Me’ has a Deep House basis but is topped with warm disco elements, sparkling riffs and catchy vocals. And if that is not enough it climaxes to an acid loaded 303 bassline making it an allround banger. Great for dance floors or warm summer drives along the coastline of the French Riviera.

The second track ‘Pop Like This’ evolves around a hypnotic jazz hook with deep and dubby drums.
And all in all this track is also quite nice for summer drives along the coastline of the French Riviera but pretty much every other part of the world too.

Kraver is the project of two friends, heavily inspired by 80’s music and popular culture.
They started their career releasing mainly instrumental tracks on labels such as Nurvous Records, Jalapeno Records and Bordello A Parigi.
The Kraver sound is recognisable by their use of retro hardware synths and addictive pop-soaked melodies.
For their new single Digital Highway they collaborated with the extremely talented Dutch singer/ songwriter Colin Lee who provided the vocals for Digital Highway.

American director Jeremy Osbern created the music video for ‘Digital Highway’. With hundreds of credits to his name, Osbern has shot everything from multi-million dollar film projects to Emmy-winning commercials. His most recent project for which he was cinematographer and executive producer just premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

Amigos y Amigas, the Doctr is in! 

Doctr is probable best known for his Italo flavoured releases on labels such as Bordello a Parigi, Music For Dreams and your beloved Silhouette Music. 
But you might also know him from his DJ gigs (check his Soundcloud for recorded sets!), recent ones being Garcon Sauvage (FR) and Electropicales Festival (Reunion Island).

It was during these DJ gigs Doctr realised he felt the need for some more high NRG tracks and right after his set at Electropicales Festival he had what is best described as a vision, a epiphany. A clear path was laid out before him and Doctr locked himself in his studio. 
After a week or so, neighbors started complaining about the smell but something special had been cooking. 
The result is Planet Rave, a masterfully crafted ep from obviously terrific fruit. A significantly complex mix of High NRG disco and early 90s house.

Dark and deep, with lots of interesting little aromatic nuances leading the way, it offers admirably layered flavours of bouncy grooves, trippy arps, analogue-richness in the lower end and lush FM chords that are all exceptionally well integrated.

The opening track Move on Baby is a late-night cosmic disco turn on Capella's original Move on Baby which topped the charts throughout the world in the early 90's.

Pistachios are Nuts has a more Balearic touch to it with acoustic samples and shimmering pads.

About Disco Chillio
Disco Chillio a Mérida (Spain) based duo formed by Delao and Mopa Downtempo. Two devoted Nudisco selectas and producers.

They are regular hosts and performers in the Cabins of southwestern Spain. Their productions can be found on labels such as Emerald & Doreen Records and Spa In Disco.

Disco Chillio's production methods consist of a wide array of software and hardware, such as 808 drum machines, analog or digital synthesizers. And their sound is best described as spacious disco sound with slow rhythms, combined with heavy basslines and atmospheric melodies.

Cosmic Canchales ep
For the Cosmic Canchales ep the Disco Chillio boys aimed for a less dense, more relaxed sound. The main concept is a journey through the region of Extremadura, as if it were a lost planet in an immeasurable universe...

The track Cosmic Canchales is remixed by fellow spaniard Alex Arcocha. 

Charca Nebulosa is remixed by our Korean sister Shubostar (currently living in Mexico)

And Montanchez is remixed by Silhouette favourite Doctr!

Be on the lookout for Disco Chillio as the explore the musical boundaries and are working on new material inspired by traditional Extremaduran music, featuring 18th century instruments like the "carraca". Cool stuff!!
