Off The Grid christens its record label with a first release composed by very close people to the heart of its functioning. On the A1 we find a melancholic optimist house cut, made in collaboration by Ancut, head-mastering engineer from Analogcut, and Onirik, OTG’s head honcho. A2 features Onirik’s solo offering, a trippy dreamy off kilter cut, ideal for warm-up or early hours. The B-side belongs to Views, already responsible for a couple of releases on Garage Hermétique, one of the founding labels of Off The Grid, who wraps up two tracks full of atmospherical punchiness, clubby IDM, with his signature acid basslines and storytelling.

Label’s family tree is getting bigger and bigger, and looks like soon we will have a fully packed roster from all corners of the world. But for now, to celebrate a full dozen of records from Exarde, we wanted to get in touch with our new brother from the land of the rising sun. Mr. Sugimoto is not a newcomer to the electronic scene but only recently he started to release his own music.

Looks like Riku has his own delicate world, where he fuses and juggles with a lot of personal representations of the dancefloor “styles” if we may say. Sugimoto's record is balancing on a razor blade between a full-blown party and that feeling of some peculiar hi-fi nostalgia. We are welcoming everybody under his private curtains where air is filled with accurate melodies and raw mechanical grooves.

During the COVID period, people had the opportunity to occupy their time by pursuing their passions. 

Yoshi is certainly not someone new to the environment, and during that time he brought out some gems that remained unreleased for a short time yet. 

The seventh release on Mahres is Yoshi's first album (12"+7"), which features a very good variety of genres and a really fine taste. It was extremely difficult, but in the end we chose Freestyle In Space, and you will understand the reasons very soon by listening to this spectacular track.
