"We are delighted and honoured to have the opportunity to re-release two of our all time favourite records on Darkroom Dubs. Both really shaped our love and appreciation of electronic music when we first heard them at The Arches and the Sub Club. It's wonderful to be able to give both tracks a fresh audience. The crowd reaction recently to both has been tremendous, everywhere from Club 69 to the Panorama Bar. The tracks date from 1993 & 1991, respectively. Frank De Wulf's, "People In Motion" is a track that still gives me a special thrill every time I hear it and it's now been lovingly re-mastered. With DJ HMC's, "Life Support Systems" the original DAT tape couldn't be located, so we had to search out a mint vinyl copy. Luckily Andy Pirie, who does the Melting Pot parties in Glasgow and a passionate audiophile, owns a seriously high fidelity turntable and was kind enough to record it digitally for us and our mastering engineer, Mathias 'Show-B' Schober, added that extra oomph! We both hope you enjoy the tracks as much as we do."

"DJ HMC is one of the forgotten pioneers of techno. Before most of the world even knew what techno was, he was making records that sounded better than anything else, and in Australia to boot. 'Life Support Systems' was a bona fide classic at Pure, a club I did in Edinburgh from 1990 - 2000. It also became a classic at Optimo and featured on our 2nd mix cd. It will still be a classic 20 years from now. Timeless!"

As we gradually build toward the release of Rebekah’s debut album on Soma, the hard hitting DJ/producer drops her 3rd single in the shape of the Code Black EP. Rebekah is on somewhat of a frenzied run of form at the moment with not only an exhaustive touring schedule but a slew of releases that stand as a testament to her dedication to Techno. 

Title track Code Black hits the ground running with ice cold percussion and thunderous kicks running the show before a more jacking vibe is introduced backed by some seriously perilous pads. Disaster looms even more as Relapse Paradigm tears in next with clunking beats and straight percussive workouts as screeching synths and hooks give an overall foreboding atmosphere. X Confessions closes out the EP in no less vicious terms and Rebekah sets out on the warpath utilising pulsing rhythms and calamity inducing sequences to really rip into the dance floor.

With each release, Rebekah hones her skills and never fails to deliver her very best.

MOOD begin to wrap up for the year with an atomic dispatch: two of techno’s most exciting new generation faces step up to make their label debut: ANNA V. and M.I.T.A.

Both well known and respected, Anna and Mattia have previously worked together on Anna’s Voltage label and Pig&Dan’s ELEVATE. Here they take off where they left us last year with this Hadron Collider sized three tracker. ‘The God Particle’ pays respect to the Higgs boson with a relentless pacey beat laced with churchy, skin rippling trance textures that attract mass in all directions.

BEC is back with the second release on her own imprint. This time showing off her purist, stripped back, hypnotic side. 

"Turning Point" kicks off the 3 tracker with a mesmerizing, high-pitched synth line that becomes warped and intertwined by a more sinister euphony. 

"The Forgotten One" features fast, glittering drums, laid over a bouncy bassline which combined make the perfect foundation for the swirling, arpeggiated synth that appears full of boundless energy, this one will set the dancefloor on fire. 

"The Hedonist", rich in intricate sound designed elements, including an airy pad, leave the listener lost in thought. 

This will surely turn heads and establish BEC as a multifaceted artist, who has innate creativity to produce her own unique sounds.
